Now I have a stock N/A 98 Forester & besides the slight understeer, I love it!

Its a solid car with a magic engine & gear box & is so damn comfortable to drive, makes me just want to cruze everywhere

Crikey. I'm looking at exactly the same one - turbo - at the moment.Used to have an impreza jap import, miss it.

I have had an 02 WRX with 20k in mods, an 05 STI with about 4k in mods and my 07 FXT is the best purchase I have ever made in a car.

People forget its the same chassis as the wrx and STI. 95% of the stuff bolts right up.
