I love it!!! I was born in Toronto, my mom is spanish my dad was italian. I have been to Newfoundland loved it there, and when a friend of mine gave me the cd last summer I listen to it everyday, it relaxes me and I wish that life could be as it was back in the old days and for this Eddie I say thank you! for making me feel good everytime I listen to you!

There used to be a video called "Newfoundland Memories" made with older pictures.. there was a picture of Bobby Orr in his wheelchair, and the version of 'grey foggy day' was a bit different. I can't seem to find that original one anymore.

There may well have been several "originals" (i.e.- done before this one), but I never saw them before I had done it. I didn't even know the song, until a newfie friend told me about it and recommended Eddie Coffey's version. The tune and pics were then singularly picked from the net, and "originally" put together, as my artistic muse saw fit.

eddie coffey has that sad lonely sounding voice that really fits these wonderful nostalgic newfy songs to perfection. i believe he wrote this song as well. i saw him at the blue river in toronto on danforth & main last year. i looked at this man of small stature with the magnificant voice and the living icon who most people will never know. it was so wonderful to see him but a little sad too, his music makes you think of nfld. thanks for this wonderful video. beautiful pictures.
