Hey dude! I'm really exited by your video and i have a guestion for you... A couple of weeks a go i've bought the BOSS DD20 Giga delay and for so far it's the only effect i own... I'm seriously thinking about selling it and buying the ax3000g... But is it worth it? Plz answer....
Great pair of vids Fred. Only fault I'd pick up on is that the level of the guitar is just too low to hear the actual effect well in vid 2. Sometimes the actual unamplified guitar sound is almost as loud as the sound comming from the amp . Guess you'd recommend the pedal as I'm interested in buying one?
hey dude im currently lookin for effx pedals atm and i do covers of stuff like punk, like paramore, FOB, all time low to name a few. Would u reccomend this for me and other pedals prehaps tht u myt reccomend me lookin? cheers :)
Hey Fred! Didn't you use to post on the MLF? Anyway, if you want to get a better sound for your demo, you could aim the camera at the amp, I've found it sounds a lot better in most cases! You could also record directly via USB (I'm assuming the ax3000g has a USB out) and then load an impulse file after the recorded sound (I have a video on my favorites detailing the process if you're interested). Other than that, great demo!
hey bro...is this one worth buying? does it hav a good pitch shifter ? i mainly play metal and wah wah...does it hav a good metal tone and wah wah and is the vox tonelab st better? plz answer my ques asap...thanku
@AHMADF93 if you have some very hot pickups then it can get very very heavy but its never gonna be the same sound as a £1000+ tube head at overload point but its good for the price
I bought this multieffect (nice price they have considering what they do!) haven't received it yet.
Can you define such things as attack and decay time of volume envelope, or having all kinds of effects use a modulation frequency wave in terms to kick gradually in and out of a tone? I ask this because the unit reminds me of a synth a little.
@hallobaaaby you can set attack and decay for most filters as far as i know , as i havent really used the synth/midi side of it much i cant go in to detail. but in the various sub menus im sure theres control over nearly all aspects of each effect
@TheFred1021 Thanks for Re Fred! i think the MIDI side you need only if you upload in the unit a "snapshot" of a whole setting (made with the PC/Mac editor) or if you synchronise the unit with an external sequencer such as Korg electribe or groovebox. As for controling the filters enevelope i don't see it in the editor (appart from attack). In any case, it does offer enough features to shape your guitar sound in all kinds of ways. The sound is GOOD-i dont get why ppl think Boss me-20 sounds bettr
That Mic near the pic is anoying
