Pawlenty describes his positions on abortion, guns, education and transportation as "middle-of-the-road". But my fellow Conservatives are not really interested in moderate (presidential) candidates as long as Limbaugh and the Christian-Right holds the GOP hostage. Based on these facts, I wonder how Pawlenty can get more support from the conservative base than McCain did. By (simply) doing what McCain did in the last months of the ´08 campaign?

the final cut made me literally lul. I want the conservatives to regain some ground because an unchecked Democratic party can be a very scary thing. That being said it seems apparent, at least from Fox news, that the right really doesn't know what to do with itself... I think they might be stuck in the same "mode" they were 8 years ago. So sad.

A loyal opposition composed of informed citizens is truly necessary if we want to remain a strong democracy. FNs' reporting, however, is very troubling, it seems that no matter how globally significant an event may be, they're interested only in framing our perceptions a certain way by repeating talking points. It is IMPOSSIBLE for a daily FN viewer to reconcile what they believe is going on in the world with ANYBODY else. Props to all the conservatives who don't watch this trash.

I think I'm starting to understand FoxNews' and the Republican conception of what our foreign policy goals must be. Conservatives want the rest of the world to hate us.
