I'm wondering what the purpose of putting passwords on rars that your distributing to people in public.

I am getting tired of people uploaded Rars for public download but keeping passwords on them.

@tenchimuyo69 yes i download a file today of 11GB 2 days with my PC on donloading and trying to keep everyone out of the internet BUT I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THAT FCK PASSWORD this time the ASSHOLE put to part 1 - 40 a password that is what he give to extract but the last 40 part 41-80 has another password and the extracion break ALL THAT MTH FUKERS HAVE TO BURN IN HELL why if you going to piracy a game you have to put a password in the winrar trying to evade the cia ???

Especially because of the uselessness of it for that purpose, as failing to give your password to the authorities almost makes you guilty by default. Not OFFICIALLY, but it almost always ends up as such.

Ctl+p does not quite work... at least not for me.

It WILL allow you to extract rar files. However, once it is finished extracting, it will delete the files again after detected a "wrong password"
