  • wait a second... the stock sti does not lose 100hp from flywheel to the wheels... at most 20% which is 244hp...

  • ill stick with my supercharged 4.6 v8 thank you very much

  • @Rhickey76 and youll keep losing lol 4.6 your so funny

  • after 2013 there is no more evo ,so all the haters will have to buy subaru!!

  • i love all of the flamers. just an FYI, if the EVO was better than the STi, then why Mitsubishi discontinue it? Food for thought.

  • @MrKillerBEE123 lol...if the NSX was better than a camry, why did they discontinue it? food for thought

  • @MrKillerBEE123 who discontinued the evo? Lol Mitsu has confirmed of a evo XI hybrid

  • yeah lets ask the guy who owns a subaru which one he likes better.....idiot.

  • @KAWIxMONSTER Well there must be a reason as to why he bought one.

  • Every car comparo between these two when stock shows that the evo is better and faster for the track (both circuit or track) and the STI is more comfortable for the road. Once modified its about who the tuner is and what parts you put on and there is truely no way to say one is better.

  • So full of shit, could you even try to hide your bias next time, the 4b11 in the evo x takes a shit on the ej25 weak bucket. I like the Sti's look but boxers were built and designed for a flat 6 or twin turbo configuration. Having a budget built 2.5 4cyl with 4 different length runners feeding to a childs turbo is gay. Also in japan they laugh at the shitness of the 2.5 and run with a forged 2.0 which is still shit.

  • @Adamau85 amr knows there shit i doubt its biased...

  • 149 people drive subarus... 55 drive evos

  • dollar for dollar you can make more power out of evo's then sti's...they didn't go into that

  • @brenzaboom

and then the dual clutch gearbox would break, which is about a few thousand dollars....

  • so.. this car has been on the dyno 97 times and hasnt even passed 300whp... hes definitely the tuner i'd bring my car to......

  • oh what did I hear something?? subarus are better than evos?? what really?? I had no clue! yeah that right evo lovers, suck it! STi all day!!

  • Alright fat ass lets not be to biased haha. Ohhh yeah by the way lets compare a modified car to an all stock car, good look. EVOs are cheaper, faster and look much much better. Go eat another cheeseburger Matt. There both great cars, but your still a d-bag!!!

  • Wrx STi is looks better then an evo, and the sti handles better in snow and dirt, and yes i do ralley races with my STi, evo just cant compare in ralley

  • @clutch3581 Have you raced an early Evo in Rally? If I remember it correctly Tommi Makinen did the damage in 96 - 99 in an early Evo 3 - 5... No other cars in that period could touch the evo. The Evo has not been part of the WRC since 2006. The late Evo's are hardly race proven. Thats why I'll stick with my 98 Evo 5.

  • i like the new sti sedan mainly because its six speed manual, and its got a boxer engine, an evo is still a dsm

  • my 06 sti made 303 awhp with a turbo back and short ram with cobb tune on 91 pump gas get at me evo`s!!!!!! sti all day OSIS909 check my races smashing on evo`s all day every day

  • where in the world is 274whp on a dynodymanics good! the dyno reads high firstly and all the stuff on the car are your branded parts! Not impressed!!! For less dough I made 350whp on a dynojet!

  • @chattbout1 Dyno Dynamics reads low aka "The Heartbreaker" so 274 whp is good equivalent to little over 300 whp if it were on a Dynojet.

  • I have no respect for AMR, because you can't compete with other Evo tuners it does'nt give you the right to be openly biased. you own a subaru shop everyone knows that and lame one at that, your tunes blows. Be honest subarus are more expensive to mod and you get less power for the same money spent on a evo by far! this whole staged episodes is the worst. Rob you gotta stop living off your one past achievement ( you now what I'm talking about) make some really numbers.

  • @TNQTV my wrx has 265hp....WOW time for it to blow up huh?? thanks for the warning..lmao................

  • doesnt the sti have a 2.5 litre engine while the lancer only has a 2.0?

  • Hmmm....

  • no fair he's biased to STI's

  • @TNQTV Google, engine failure 2008 sti. shut your mouth.

  • @TNQTV Youre an idiot. If you don't know about the 08+ (GR series) wrx/sti and their ringland problems.. then you should of never commented my little friend. It has nothing to do with power.

  • If you had a tonne of cash you'd wanna spend it on the 4G63 as its the best 4 cylinder engine ever built but does the knew 4B11 respond aswell to mods? im not sure but I still think choosing the EJ over it is a mistake when you plan to make it a full racecar. Anyways I'd take subaru over it anyday. Both are fairly ugly but the Evo X is just worse, not to mention looks like they ripped off Audi.

  • What happened at 4:22 to make the sound louder?

  • I own an Evo X GSR 2011 and love everything about it. Then again I also have to give props to the Subis. Both these cars are great. Its all matter of opinion.

  • It's been one sided (sti) the whole review...lame... My VR4 is funner ;-)

  • "You'll never blow it up!"

Lmao, I wonder how many times he has blown up his STi engine by now.

  • bloody hell! lots of bias evo fans here lol... I owned both evo 9 and sti v9 and I have to say i found the sti more fun to drive both on track and road with little mods to both cars... but in saying that they were both JDM (japanese domestic market) cars not the watered down U.S versions where the sti turbo is almost half the size of the evos

I love both cars anyway Im a sti and evo fan and been working on these cars for years.... P.S STI hatch back looks crap! 2011 STI is where it should be.

  • to tell the truth. I loge both of these cars but I'd get the evo 9.

  • Both these cars are powerful but look and feel cheap. I rather wait for the VW golf r!

  • I am currently deciding which to get, truth is they are close. Ironically, I am more concerned that Mitsubishi (the car business) is struggling big time in the US right now.

  • evos are not dsm idiot, they are jdms, mitsu and chrysler not longer work together

  • t6he evo is just better, and the previous evo, 4g63 bulletproof, and let's not bring up the fq400

  • wtf they are so biased...evos are cheaper to mod to get more power, this coming from a STI owner.

  • biased review all the way...

  • biased review all the way... STi hatchback is butt ugly.

  • as an all around evo fan i am very disapointed in the evo 10 the look the feel

the evo 8 mr so far the best handeling all round and i find the most fun is with the older evos you could litteraly beet the crap out of them and they would alwais hold superbly

  • @blooshot i have both cars IX and X.. Evo X handles better in all weather condition especially in snow.

  • 2:26 - best part

  • if tuning is your thing, definitely go with the EVO

  • cool. So we now know that if you spend 2k on a new Sti, it will make more power than an EVO.

So...... what does that prove? What if you spend 2k on the EVO and do the same mods? Will it be faster at the track? The same? I feel like I wish this review had a bit more "meat" to it.

  • I agree... both cars are sick!! Im a suby guy, but if I wanted to buy a new car...It would be hard to decide between the two. As far as tuning goes, Im pretty sure its a know fact that you make more power with LESS mods with the EVOs...I think as far as looks...with the right rims/tires and LOWERED, they both are very aggressive looking. I like them both!

  • for $300 a turbo SS gets 90+ trq

    just saying

  • @daivdo And a fried clutch. Ask me how I know :)

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah, the review is a bit biased id say..

"the subaru is the better car" comming from the guy who owns the subaru...

I have owned an 05 and 07 wrx both of which I reliably modded and loved. At that point id say Subaru all day, the evo is garbage..

I now own an Evo X, and am still in disbelief at how much more i enjoy it than the subie. It will literally drive circles around the recent STi (havent driven the 11 yet)

and as for reliabilty, @ stock internals the Evo X can take more abuse

  • too bad that bald faggot didn't ask "which car is better if YOU DON"T MOD" because I think the evo x is more sophisticated and has better awd system.

plus the evo x looks beastly (like a supercar) the subaru looks like a fuckin accord.

  • what do you did to the Subaru make that Roar ?!

he's so soft and in a moment he made an agressive ROAR.

    I'll Wait for your answer Thank's ;)

  • that was a bad review, very bias and one of the very few reviews out there that actually claim the STI is the overall better choice, when in fact its not, and hasn't ever been.

  • This review is bias. I love both cars. Subaru is just ugly. I think subaru for street. Evo for the track!! So where's the modded evo?

  • viewers decide, but instead, this bald headed guy is cumming all over the STI. Well, good for you; i love both cars but pls, when ur making a show, pls be fair and equal (I've also noticed that he's biased towards american cars....i got nothing against it but now i see how his head works). and being fair applies to all the shows. so please, be fair.

  • When i see the shows and/or reviews done by this guy (the bald headed guy), I feel like I'm watching an HBO on "Everything that's wrong with U.S. news channels". First, news channels are supposed to be delivering information, and let the viewers decide what's going on. But nowadays, or since a long time ago, they stopped doing that and started to feed their own interpretations into em. This show is exactly like that. Evo vs Sti reviews were supposed to just deliver informations and let the

  • Evo drivetrains are not weak, first of all. Second with the same mods, the evo is the faster car hands down. I've seen it over and over again. I love both cars, I think they're both great, but if u plan on modding, the Evo is the way to go.

  • <3 the scooby, but they looks so fookly (fcking ugly!)

  • Does it really matter? Gosh stfu you bunch of cry babies who the fuck cares it's just one review and every car has problems. It seems like everyone on YouTube is ten and under sometimes.

  • BAHAHAHAHA DSMs with weak drivetrains. The new evo shares NO drivetrain components with the 4g63 powered evos. Different motors twin clutch etc etc. I feel bad for all the people paying this guy to tune their cars.

Wanna go fast, buy an evo9 take the ten (or more) grand you saved buy an fpgreen HTA an e85 setup and boom fast as shit lol

  • super bias....

  • 222 hp on the evo wtf...its 280 hp stock wth happened to the boost pill and crap like that? Umm also why did the owner of the subrau's voice become less confident when talking about the evo but raised when he was talking about the sti???

Evos will hit way over 600whp before a engine swap to something built.

wrx's and sti blocks cant take that without a engine swap. I think your review was missing a lot of info and hitting more on look at my nice sti...sorry I just tell it like it is.

  • @Evodeath10 220 whp. the engine makes ~280 hp but a lot of power is lost when going to the 4 wheels.

  • @M17K5H4K3

The problem is that wrx I know sucks compared to the evo. I know that for a fact first hand. I ve test driven both cars and the wrx just feels lacking. Have you wondered why the wrx is modded and the evo isnt?

  • subaru all the way mother fuckers

  • @PADDY9T3 #1 who the fuck is this tuner? #2 every, and i mean literally every review for these two cars in the world has the evo coming out on top with the tuners, and the magazine reviews. top gear, fifth gear, motor trend, caranddriver, edmundsinsideline, road and track etc etc etc

#3 every racing video will show that mod for mod the evo is a more powerful car in all its generations.

with turbo back exhaust intake a boost controller and a tune i made 340 awhp on an evo 10.

  • Garage 419 is ruining their rep posting this clown. Subaru and Mitsu owners are well aware that evos make MUCH more power mod for mod than any subaru. even muscle car owners german etc are aware that the evo has a better engine. If matt farah is the car fan he appears to be, he should be well aware that this tuner is full of s**t. this guy is bragging about a 12.4 when there are evo x with those mdos in the 11`s and full bolt on stock turbo evo 9 in the 10s

  • He is trying to market Subaru because he does most of his work on Subaru's. The evo is a faster car stock, and has more potential on the high end. The Subaru how ever seems to hold a "quality" to it that people love.

  • If youtube forces you to watch adds I will start a youtube boycott.

  • i knw that most ppl arent concerned with this but with the tuned sti how much does mpg suffer from the mods?

  • @Disishalloween

a good 5-9 mpg when you reach 380whp-400 whp.

  • Charity Cars? I'm not giving my car to some crackhead.

  • Every one should know about evo8's and in some cases the MR's (9) 6spd being weak in terms of drivetrain but motor wise?? I could have swore the 4g63, and 4B11 are flatout stronger than a ej257. I have seen evo8s and 9s put down 500whp on stock internals with just a mild cam and nothing major in size for a turbo upgrade either, talking likE 50-60trim size turbos were is a sti can only hit that mark ON PUMP with fully built longblock/ meth and 35r.

  • so stock evo has more hp than sti ?!

  • if ken block drives one........its a good car and not gay ;)

  • @454canadian The Subaru Ken block drives isn't really a Subaru. It has so many aftermarket parts that I don't think it can be considered one.

  • @VaughnLittle

ken block drives a ford now so the subie must of not been so great...

  • @VaughnLittle lolz its a racing car

  • @ 2:30 **uncontrolled drooling**

  • evo's may not look as "cool", but you will get more bang for your buck in an evo than in an sti. This guy drove an sti and worked on mostly sti's, of course he's going to say they're better.

  • those sti's r fuckin ugly, idk how anybody can waste their money on one of those, thats a soccer moms car not a race car

  • @ucantcme762 actully its a pretty nice car

  • @ucantcme762 apparently you havent walked outside ever since they came out. 08+ is way more practical then 07-. i know this because i have a 2009. go back to driving that car mommy bought you. looks arent everything

  • @zadoks yea ok looks arent everything but there alot an i dont really care about how practical 08 sti's are or watevr ur talking about, ill juss go back to driving the car your mommy bought me

  • @ucantcme762 lol the way you speak just points more to your age being 16. you have no idea about life yet so just save your money and learn

  • hahahaha full of bull shit i smoked my friends 08 sti with full boltons and fp green tuned and my evo only got full boltons and with cams.... fuck, your shop is full of boobaroo sti...

  • What a biased review... As soon as they said that the small guy owns the STI I knew where this would go.

  • 09:22 tap tap ;p

  • very biased review. who the hell runs a stock vehicle against a modded vehicle for a comparison? the little smirks, comments and untruths in this video are just outrageous.

i hope no one is actually buying anything this clown is saying.

  • @AsleepAltima the original chart wuz stock, but then they just wanted to see how much hp they could get for 2 grand. even though I love the sti and would buy one in a heartbeat over an evo, the review was kind of biased

  • He said a 1000USD? On his site its 3000USD

  • I've driven both of these cars and an evo 8. I hated the evo 8 it was like riding over boulders on normal roads. But the engine in the 8's and 9's are the meanest 4cylinder on the plant the rest of the drivetrain blows. Sti is torquer and more comfortable for me. They are built better for reliability and the evo is a go kart with a car body on it. I love the evo x and all the sti's. Personally relaibility matters more to me. Quality over track times if you catch my drift.

  • Meaningless review. Get the facts straight.

  • Evo X: 222 whp 240 wtq; STI: 210 whp 230 wtq, what else do you need to hear. The 2.0 out-torqued the 2.5. WRX/STI motors are terrible, the only good engines that Subaru ever made are in the JDM STI. If you think the STI can handle more power than an Evo X, please refer to the May 2010 issue of import tuner, where an STI OWNER notes all of the problems you'll face when tuning an STI, including overheating, detonation, cracked/smashed pistons, and oiling problems.

  • @streetdsmpwr

    very well said sir!

  • Those are pretty low numbers for the STI with those mods.

  • @SoCalRiderXspadesX

It is called the reality. No control x.

  • biggest waste of time in my life soo biased top gear is so much better get off the sti nuts forreal

  • 0after that i have to question: is there any truth to what he is saying about the evo drivetrain? (throughout this thing he is totally basis... im so confused...

  • BIASED.. why ask the guy that OWNS the Subaru STi, which car is better..... I WONDER what his reply will be....

  • Wow that guy is a dumbass, the Evo has knock correction, even my 94 3000GT VR4 has knock detection and timing retard function WHEN it detects enough knock. biased review is biased.

  • Lol my evo x make 298 awhp/305 with a catback, panel filter and a tune on a mustang dyno. Bias review i say, bring an evo with the same mods it will blow the sti away.

  • @armi3485 I get so sick of reading this shit. This argument goes both ways... bring me a a STI with a turboback, and stg II tune, and i'll toast your evo making 298 awhp.

better yet, how about i just bring you a Porsche Carrera GT, and you can smoke the wheels off of the STI!!

The review is biased, obviously, but for shits sake, come up with a better arguement.

  • @gearsofyourmom i understand your point. but whethere you go on a subaru forum, or an evolution forum, the opinion is unanimous, and backed up by real facts, that teh evolution is faster when modded. and an sti with a turbo back and "stage 2 tune" if your referring to cobb, or perring or etc... i dont know, it will not come close to 298 awhp on a mustang which is about 345 awhp on a dynojet. i have owned both an sti and evo, an sti with said mods will make MAYBE 275-280 awhp on a mustang

  • @armi3485 i agree.... i saw another video saying that garage 419 is payed to be bias and have the subaru win every time i beilve it.

  • @armi3485 what exactly is a catback? just wondering and is Mitsubishi going to come out with a 2011 evo x gsr? i don't know much about cars

  • Why would you make a comparison video with one car thats stock vs one thats modded. That makes sense, right. Jackasses

  • nice vid but next time ya should go interview someone that ant own eighter of the cars or go interview STM performance in nz evo have stronger drive train than subies any day hows 2nd gear subie owners i have mates with subies and have mates with evos including ma own evo 4 running ova 400+ WHP on 18 pounds soo there both good cars Subies break A LOT more so go figer but i guess the diff is any one can have stars in there eyes But just remember diamonds are for eva lol

  • A pair of snapper heads.

  • i agree with gameholic. u can tell right away that the host and the sti owner both like sti s better but i have a 2nd gen gsx and im pushing 28 lbs with my stock tranny and its also my daily driver. mitsubishis not only the better car but it also has the best all wheel drive system out of the two......

  • Horrible host...he needs to find another job.

  • Seemed like an Sti review, more less a comparison between Sti and Evo

  • both nice cars but when it comes to modding evo ftw

  • @Abbertont what does ftw stand for?

  • @s3nt1m3nta1 for the win

  • this guy is so full of shit if he really thinks the subaru has better out of the box potential than an evo... i dont see any stock turbo sti's breaking into the 11's and 118+ trap speeds. not to mention the evo has a much stronger engine. even cobalts are breaking into the 11's on stock turbo now lol

  • lol was that the owner of the sti opening the hood because they closed it right after a pull?

    lmfao

    he looked pissed

  • The Subaru engines make a lovely sound I'm going to get one and do some mods..

  • this comparison is soooooooooo wrong how can you compare a modded sti to a stock evo x makes no sense all y'all doin is bashin the evo this video fails

  • it is stock, just some tunes but not speed tunes, (no added HP) if you havent figured that out already

  • @willwork4superpowazz

Watch the video again with the volume ON.

  • nah ok i heard that but the charts presented where the ones a week before, before the tunes

  • @SKILLMANXL they compared the data they had of the sti back when it was stock. the data you see when they show the sti is back when it was stock

  • if I'm a tuner & own a X & u came to interview mi & compare w STI, of coz I wll X is the better car to own & easy to tune, same as the guy being interview as he himself a tuner & owned that STI. IMO thats nt a fair trade.

  • Those figures were taken at the wheels as opposed to manufacturer claims which are taken at the crank.

Still don't understand how these guys are making a comparo between a stock car and a modded car...

  • Your points are good, but check 3:15 for the stock sti figures.

  • did they say the evo was putting down 242hp to the wheels?and the sti was makn 274?wtf i thought the sti made 305 and the evo made 290?correct me if im wrong

  • the numbers the dealer gives you are brake horsepower meaning they measure the horsepower directly from the engine. The machine they are using measures how much power is actually making it to the road through the wheels.

  • you are right but 305 is not to the wheel power its alot lower then that still but a better car i feel

  • This was totaly pointless...

how does this guy expect to get an honest answer out of a guy that owns an STI??

Did he really think the guy would say hmmm.. i got the the sti but the evo is better!

If i were totaly uninformed i would watch this video and totaly believe the STI is the superior car... real car guys know the truth..

  • @gameholic2

maybe the reason he got the STi was because it was better. I dont understand why people even bother watching there videos. Seems like everyone already either prefers the STi or the EVO and if someone says the other one is better they just bash them and say they know nothing.

  • @Raiden36O

so if that guy got the STI because it is better there's a lot of idiot tuners walking around cause i know a lot of guys that will sware by the EVO...

the fact is that the video fails simply because these guys are comparing apples to oranges, compare stock to stock if you want to claim to be objective.

  • @gameholic2 they did compare stock to stock clearly the sti loses more power at the wheels, in the end is all about preferences or loyalty, these cars have their ups and downs. He only said that an sti can be modified easier than the evo since the new evo has an aluminum block engine. that dosent mean you cant, just that you will spend more money and time in doing so. I love the evo's btw, so please dont say "you are only saying that cuz u love sti's"

  • I think the evo x has better technology with its active torque split yaw awd system and 6 speed twin clutch paddle shift, the subi has more understeer and a still holds on to the poorly engineered top mount intercooler, i think id go with the sti though

  • Ok A wrx is NOT comparable to an Sti or X Yes, with tuning you can build power but not as much power as an Sti or X with comperable tuning. Also, a wrx will NEVER handle as well as an Sti or X. Moving on someone said they traded a 9 for gti and are going to an Sti, the Evo x dispels all the Evo econobox interior issues. My x has factory nav, hard drive with my music stored on it, with DVD movie playback, cruise control, and heated leather seats are available as well as back up camera, drl's

  • u name it so I don't want to hear evo's interior this and that anymore. x's interior/features exel far beyond the Sti. The stis seats blow chunks and the hatch design was so badly recieved that a new non hatch Sti is currently in the works. I admit the x needs a tune to wake up from factory unlike a 9 but mitsus direction with the x was clear "more mature" not just for racing, and now ams has made 750awp with their x so for me X all the way.

  • 4:20 how did he "cut out" the mufflers? Some kind of bypass switch?

  • i give props to both cars for making it fun to beat V8's. i have a DSM a 2 guys at work 1 has a EVO and the other a STI and the STI guy is spending way more on the same parts me and the EVO are. how is it cheaper? not picking a fight and non of use are going cheap on parts just asking.

  • once you have the money to buy one and you go test the two cars you will see Subaru is in a whole new level then mitsu when it comes to quality fit and finish the evo feels like a cheap ecoboma car inside. its hard to see someone slapin down $40,000+ for the evo unless they never saw the STi

  • You know what? Get fat, get a stupid beard and some geek to agree with everything you say and you will probably even be able to make your own car program. And there is no way that ugly ass hatchback is better inside than an MR evo X.

  • I owned a evo IX. 5 months later traded it in for a VW GTI MKV. Reason why... No options at all... I paid 30k with for a car that didnt have cruse , single cd player... yes the car was fun to drive... AWD was nice and I do miss that... But after 2 years now (9k in my GTI) im going to go with an STI. AWD/turbo/hatchback/300hp. is a dream car. I wont ever buy a EVO again ill tell you that much.

  • lol right on better to get it right the third time around then not get it at all (methaman1) the STi really is on a much higher level when it comes to quality the evo dosnt hav any. bottom line STi much better looking higher quality car

  • evo x for me, it beats the sti around a track and is easier/cheaper to tune

  • sti over evo any day

  • you cant go wrong with any of these cars..!

    - STI owner

  • I agree that they are biased, they hardly spend any time talking about the evo. It's obviously about the shop's owner car. That being said, I do believe that the WRX and WRX STI are superior cars to the EVO X.

    - WRX 09 owner

  • how in any way is an WRX better than an evo X? an STI is comparable but a WRX is a decent step down.

  • The 09 WRX is actually a tad faster on the 0-60 than the STI and does the 1/4 mile in 13.5 seconds. That's why it's comparable.

Noto to mention that with COBB stage 1 on a stock WRX 09 car you get ~300 hp and you are still saving a lot of money over the STI (6-8k)

  • I own a wrx 09 and I think it's a steal for 30k. As fast as the STI and 8k less.

  • people who have driven them in real life love the STi people who drive them in games love the evo

  • STI rules mitsu fans are boys with ps3 Subarus are for real drivers

  • u guys have 2.5l engines now but both make about the same topspeed...wats the point (only u making more trips to the gas station)

  • hahaha we dont buy these cars for their gas milage how is that relevent? and any way with 0.5 liters more engine we make alot more torque over a bigger rev range and guess what milage from factory is almost identical any way

  • Comment removed

  • I just wish the Evo interior could be as good as the STI

  • this guy is siding with the sti because he owns one. but in reality those 2 grand he put into the sti the evo would almost double in power. with a drop in filter, turbo back, upper n lower and front mount, at 20 psi the car would easily make 340. as opposed to his sti that only made 279.

  • This "tuner" is clueless if he calls the Evo platform, ECU, or drivetrain lacking or weak. The stock 4B11 Evo X motor/tranny have made over 600whp and the stock Evo VIII/IX ECU has made over 700whp. He's clearly biased as a new owner of an STi, and just keeps agreeing with everything the host says. The Evo design is superior in that a 2.0L motor spools the turbo faster and makes more power, while the Subaru design is proven to be more fragile and more expensive to get power out of.

  • the evo x has more turbo lag, I test drove it. And I bought a WRX. no replacement for displacement!

  • the so called tuner, look scare of the evo x capabilities, i dont like this guy sorry !! bad show

  • Def Evo>STI This guy is scared to tell the truth and say his own opinion all he says is "Oh Definitely" even when he disagrees.

Not trying to jack the STI but I've heard Evo's are way more tune-able

  • i wish the little guy would stop saying "oh definetly"

  • I thought people made over 600+whp in evos without touching the internals? Thats strange...

    This review is incredibly biased.

  • @mad0314 they do but they're not really daily drivers. I think Ryan Gate's EvoX has been one of the few X's that's proven a stout reliable car with a little over 500 whp that saw thousands of miles of mostly track day racing before it finally blew.

  • @mad0314 yup white people likes sti for the sake of boxer engine sound, because it sounds like amercan muscle

  • @mad0314 you wont get 600whp out of it without touching internals, and if you did your car explode shortly after.

its easy to gain initial horsepower with down pipes, uppipes, catback exhaust and a dyno tune. Getting above and beyond 400hp is the real bench mark.

  • @MTD369

Umm acctually without touching the internals, a down pipe, turbo back , ect will do the car alot of good, the 600whp is a pretty hard mark to hit even with touching the internals.....

  • i got thae same evo x i got it from hempstead ny too haha
