you can actually try it, just google "tactical intervention beta torrent", that is a version of the first beta release but dont expect too much the beta is cracked for offline gaming and actually "raped" most of the features of the game...

I don't know of any weapon that you get for free. And the game is more like a class-based Modern Warfare rather can CounterStrike. It also has a game mode that's not in other games. In which you have to escort a tank to an onjective before the other team destroys it.
