The only thing Yoel's doing wrong is holding back greater intensity on Zab. Other than that, he does the best pad work compared to other trainers (except Freddie Roach). He forces Offense & defense at the same time, making Zab to be alert at all times. Zab is the best of his era & he could still be on top now, but he needs his father back & go back to fighting like the Zab Judah of old, but keep the conditioning he got from Whitaker.

Zab's weakness is his balance falls apart as he finishes off a lot of his combinations. If he fixes that, he'll improve greatly. Still my favorite fighter( southpaw ;)

Zab is so fuckin' talented but sometimes he gets frustrated in the ring and lose focus. Boxing is mostly mental and he tends to breakdown when the fight doesn't go his way. But I watched his fight couple of weeks ago on Friday Night Fights and he looked great. GREAT UPPERCUT ZAB. I hope he can make a great come back because I enjoy watching his fights.

@DMXTVDallas it's his best punch--especially after he blocks a punch coming at him with his opposite shoulder--he's nasty as shit with that punch--i adopted that punch yearsago--but i got it from floyd patterson himself--he did it so well and zab does it well also--and so does floyd but he doesn't follow it up with an uppercut--he throws a right cross and hook--it's so effective--a lot of my knockouts came from that move--i put motherfuckers down silly with that move-lol--

Zab has a shit load of skill but is a mental midget.

Anyways , Roach teaches a more aggressive style and not much slickness.

Aggressiveness is the last thing Zab needs and he wont get that slick training that supplements his style.

nah pacman is not overrated....The training is commonly 50/50....but for the most part depends how much work the fighter himself wants to put in...zab just has bad habbits....and a cocky attitude....pacman beat a prime barrera and marquez i do believe zab is more talented...but pacman applies himself more to the sport....cotto does too thats why zab lost that fight

That's what you like to think, the problem isn't just his trainer/father, the probem is Zab Judah himself.

He and his father both are mentally unstable for the most part. His father passed the genetic on to him.

He can hire Naseem Richardson to give him the instructios he gives to Mosley and Hopkins but ultimately Hopkins and Mosley are mentally focused and Judah is not.

HE IS WHAT HE IS, A VERY GOOD FIGHTER WITH FAST HANDS BUT NOT ONE OF THE GREATS.
