I don't listen to music, and my hearing is so sensitive that I wear earplugs most of the time to block out annoying noises like the clock ticking in the next room or the constant high-frequency whine from the tiny switched-mode power converter in my optical mouse, or noises like dishes clattering together, which I can find physically painful. I can also hear bats chirping.
Actually music is mastered at higher level's because the standard for radio play back has changed and record company's are too lazy to produce both a radio master and a sale's master, The standard used to be about -4 Decibels but recently changed to around 0 Decibel's, As that's the highest you can go without clipping
Even though I don't listen to things loud, and I don't have the volume all the way up anyway, I still turned down the volume a little more at 45 seconds. {Listening through ear phones}
i know my brother only has 50% of the hearing he should so i only turn it up when my dumb bus driver pumps her black soul music(i don't mind it but i want my billy joel)So i try to keep it down cause i treasure my hearing cause i live on music
The only time my music is loud enough to be anywhere close to what he's talking about is when I'm REALLY angsty, like when I got dumped, so I was playing Three Days Grace loudly while looking pissed off on the bus, or when my stepsister was being 'such a bitch!' so Billy Talent, top volume... on my old hardly working crappy CD player across the room. Yea, being 18, I'm pretty much done with the whole teenage angst thing, so my music is not loud enough to cause damage. :)
I dont care... i like my ear buds i took sign language for a really long time so if i do go deaf i can still talk i guess...Death Metal is not ment to be played soft haha
I wear head phones. I've never worn ear-buds. And I'm 13. They won't fit in, and I always found them useless. You can just as easily wait until your home, instead of waisting money on MP3 players. I haven't even owned anyone of those new things. All I have is a simple computer, thats not too old, and a pair of head phones. They aren't as bulk as those, but they are better than the other thing kids have.
I like my music loud. I definitely prefer bulky headphones (like skullcandies), and sound-canceling ones, because I actually like the look of them. Sorry, I don't care about the facts, though - my music will forever be loud.
XD I find it funny when one of my friends takes my ear bud out and trys to liston to my music cos they can never hear it there like Wtf Where is your music and im like I can hear it , your going death from listoning to it so loud . I like my mp3 on the lowest setting cos ian still hear it
The counselor on a deaf community Deafornot dot c om said that "People who may be defined as clinically deaf (unable to hear spoken language) may or may not be members of the Deaf community."
I'm pretty sure they lower and muffle the sound gradually through this video forcing us to either turn up the volume or lean closer to the computer. GOOD ONE. Seriously, hilarious.
yeah... but a lot of teen hearing loss is genetic too... i got hearingaids in fifth grade before my friends or i had earbuds... i dont think people will ever showoff hearingaids, though...but this video will not make me buy headphones, because i already have to keep track of my hearingaids every single time i want to listen with earbuds...
lol its so true ... ive killed myears already and i have whats called tinitus ... which basically meanstheyre so damaged i hear a high pitched noise all the time... it sounds like im getting signals from space
i wear ear buds but i dont turn them up that loud. i can hear someone talking normally all the way across the room, and if i cant hear, i DO go to a quieter room.
