The plot twists were unexpected, you really can't guess the plot, so the tags of "lame" and "safe" don't fit here. The plot depended on "etiquette" so the middle class aspect was needed.

By "unchallenging" I suspect that "challenging" equates to "unpleasant" - well thank goodness! What an enjoyable video it was - first rate production and acting - we all just love it, not just Ch4 and the BBC.

The way the first line of dialogue ("That's the last time we went water skiing") encapsulates and takes the micky out of a middle class diner party is brilliant - the activity is not a real interest - it is discarded as soon as some event has happened to provide a dinner party accecdote. If only more videos could be as succinct!

oh yes of course, the line "That's the last time we went water skiing" taking the micky out of dinner parties, wow, I mean thats so radical, god, genius, the middle classes will be so upset over such a parody of them. SO LAME. whats next, a sketch about the vol-au-vonts not having fresh prawns? God, the controversy, the middle classes will all be having sleepless nights now, yes cutting edge comedy indeed.
