The Opening Ceremonies Was Amazing! I Loved Seeing All The Natives Dancing In! I Totally Wish I Was There. But I Am Proud Too Say Im Aboriginal! Proud Of Everyone Who Was There! And I Love How Savannah Is Mentioning Some Of The Tribes She Met. Because I Am Half Carrier & Half Cree From Northern BC! Well Hope It Was An Amazing Experience & Hope You Had Fun Savannah! :)
The way that you feel, is kind of like the way that I felt when I was at work and found a playlist of Pow Wow music.. it was a part of my heritage that I was not connected to ( Blackfoot & Choctaw) ... I was about to burst into tears!! And it was strange because vocally & rythmically, it was similar to my African heritage & the music , especially the a'capella vocals & the SOUL. I have to go to a pow wow & connect with that part of my heritage. Pow wow & trips to Africa. We R BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE

The opening ceremonies were awesome and they brought tears to my eyes......I love all my native brothers and sisters!!!
