I think in order to get lasting peace the actual conflicts in the various regions needs to be handled. Most of the issues are not even religious. For example: in Nigeria the real problem is with political control, in Palestine it's about land share, in Iraq it's about natural resource and oil. In Afghanistan the talibans came out of Soviet invasion.. extremist use the conflicts for their own cause. If the root causes are solved and the regions progress economically, this issues will be resolved.

There is no Islamic union/ ummah like that in today's world. There are vastly different muslim countries spread across 3 continents, Bosnia, Egypt, Bangladesh or Malaysia have hardly anything in common (economically, socially or culturally). The same way Switzerland is not related to kenya or Chile just because both are Christian nations. I personally condemn all action of violence, be it 9/11, Nigerian conflict, Tibet suppression, Kashmir or plights of Tamils in Srilanka.

I think in order to get lasting peace the actual conflicts in the various regions needs to be handled. Most of the issues are not even religious. For example: in Nigeria the real problem is with political control, in Palestine it's about land share, in Iraq it's about natural resource and oil. In Afghanistan the talibans came out of Soviet invasion.. extremist use the conflicts for their own cause. If the root causes are solved and the regions progress economically, this issues will be resolved.

There is no Islamic union/ ummah like that in today's world. There are vastly different muslim countries spread across 3 continents, Bosnia, Egypt, Bangladesh or Malaysia have hardly anything in common (economically, socially or culturally). The same way Switzerland is not related to kenya or Chile just because both are Christian nations. I personally condemn all action of violence, be it 9/11, Nigerian conflict, Tibet suppression, Kashmir or plights of Tamils in Srilanka.

As I said earlier, there is no ummah. Muslim nations are diverse countries spread across continents with various geo-political situation. Would Switzerland/ Italy apologize for action of some random group in Argentina or Kenya ?(just because they are all Christians).
