  • @MrGuitarphenomenon

  • Wow, honestly the sexiest version of this song I've ever heard!

  • hello mr orge

  • THE BEST SONG WHILE MAKING LOVE. <3

  • Love the voice, love the amazing group, brings me back to the 60's...saudades..

  • i saw these in their homecoming gig in st albans last week. i have to say they still got it! the singer was amazing, considering his age. all the original members came on stage which was a nice touch.

  • That voice OMG! :)

  • Me encanto esta canción es mi favorita de ellos :)

  • I don't really know if they ever did any awful music, except for some of the newer stuff

Saw them @ the Key Club in L.A years ago and they were still fantastic even without the full original band.

  • Wow! I wasn't expecting this beautiful smooth interpretation of this classic. ITs like Dusty Springfield's voice had turned into a guy!! And I mean that in a positive way of course. sexy.

  • Colin's voice melts me every time! magic....

  • that has to be the creepiest picture ever....

  • @Trackgal125 haha ya for sure.

  • OMG IM CRYING THIS IS SO ORGASMIC

  • I wish Colin would do "The Look Of Love" at their concert now. Just saw them a few weeks ago and theygave a GREATshow ! they are so good "live" - love Colin .

  • HI

  • Hey this was really cool! A awful good rendition. Not Dusty springfield but for a 60's guy rock group about as good as anyone could have done it.

  • Well done cover...Burt is a consummate song writer

  • brilliant

  • OMG....I LOVE THIS...FIRST TIME HEARING THIS....THANK YOU FOR THE POST....

  • The Look Of Love

  • what james bond film is this from again?

  • @1schwererziehbar1

This was in the 1967 version of Casino Royale which was a parody of 1960s spy films.

  • style Bossa Nova!

  • A great version of this song. Burt's writing genius and the Zombies incredible. I have been a long time fan of both Burt and the Zombies since the early to mid 60s and it is great to hear the two together.

  • Made me Cry

  • The look that time can't erase <3

  • @luvyellowroses1 They are supremely under appreciated :')

  • alota fagina brought me here

  • luv the ZOMBIES! officially a fan since todayy (=

  • j'adore leurs version .

  • roses thats called an eargasm haha

  • Colin Blunstone has always reminded me of Nick Drake with a little more volume and range. He's characteristically excellent here, that smooth-as-glass vocal giving the number unadorned elegance.

  • Colin Blunstone is the singer's name. A fantastic voice.

  • i am a zombie

  • OMFG THIS SONG IS LIKE AN ORGASM IN YOUR EARS :D

  • omg the singer's voice is soo smooth, i love it

  • What's strange about this -- he's the male version of Dusty Springfield.

  • @StanBennet Exactly.

  • Comment removed

  • They got the Look going on there then ? :) . x

  • Fucking Bill Gates in this '60s band too!

  • @SkidRowJosephine He's fucking everywhere!

  • this is my most favorite. i can't stand how much i like this song..

  • when he says "the look" it reminds me of while my guitar gently weeps

  • @mutantpinyata4real yeah me too..

  • this is some serious talent...wow!bring back the 60's!

  • the classiest pop ever was there ever a lead singer who sounded this angelic

  • @delawarr1970

That wouldn't be possible. I just discovered this song today, and after listening to over and over, I feel like a jelly!! What a beautiful, sexy voice!!

  • the best ever cover and much better than original as well

  • Done live and right.

  • This is really a fantastic cover of The Look of Love. His voice is amazing, it reminds me of a male Sade.

  • wpw what a sexy sexy sultry voice

  • omfg this is the fucking raddest song EVER!!

  • wow! what a voice!! i like Dusty's, but this one is excellent as well!!!

  • ELVIS COSTELLO (THE IMPOSTER) MAYBE, STRIKES AGAIN, WHO IS THIS , QUITE GOOD VERY GOOD ACTUALLY.

  • This is the best version!

  • I want to make love to this song.

  • freaky how much he sounds like Elvis Costello.. (or rather visa versa)

  • I happen to pick up one cd from library Best of Zombies... the music is so kool..

then started exploring more.. found another similar .. The sorrows.. pretty good..

  • I don't think I've ever heard this version - it's fantastic!

  • Dreamy. Still sounds new. Could be a good Sunday brunch backround piece. Definitely Dusty- inspired. She used to hang out w the zombies. Or should I say: they hung out with her.

Music was so embryonic at that time.

And I, one fan of many, am grateful for the associations that formed.

  • Love this, his song is smooth, moody and smoky - a lot like Dusty Springfield who also did this.

  • perhaps the original besides burts?

  • This song is bad! The Zombies should have passed on recording any Bert Bacharach tune. Rod Argent wrote great songs! Their best songs!!

  • @hvymetaltaz Idk about that one I mean this isnt too shabby my fellow man.

  • Just gonna throw it out there, the Beatles were good but they got lucky none the less, like say J.b.

  • Quit comparing every British Invasion group to the Beatles....Thge Zombies were good period. Yes even the Beatles covered other peoples tunes.

  • Every one of them is a more talented musician than their Beatles counterparts.

The Beatles were just better songwriters basically, but the Zombies' lead singer, keyboardist, and guitar player were real musical prodigies for their age.

  • Just better songwriters basically? That is an understatement to say the least. That is the most important element of any band or musical artist. The ability to write songs. There are a million people in the world who can sing and a million who can play guitar. But it's the songwriters who can come up with that great melody, lyric or guitar riff that are really hard to come by. The Kelly Clarksons of the world are ubiquitous. But the John Lennons and Keith Richards are impossible to find.

  • @FREON212 True

  • i love this song!! great song!!

  • the look of love is in your eyes, my dear zombie!

  • Colin is so sexy!! i LOVE him :)

  • lol i was looking up cars with this song and its wayy to funny

  • Groovey!!

  • Very sexy voice...it's a shame this band was given all of the recognition they deserved. Instead, it was all given to the Beatles. Maybe the Zombies didn't deserve at much attention as the Beatles, but they were significant and should've been given more than they received.

  • @girraud As far as the British Invasion Bands go, The Zombies are one of my favorites. I was bummed when my parents said they weren't as popular back in the day.!

  • Oh hell yessss!!!!!

  • oh god that voice. sexy

  • amazing, just fav'd it

  • Their cover worked because Colin's voice and rendition were silky and raspy just like the ultimate version- that of Dusty Springfield's.

  • Burt Backarack (sp) should receive more recognition than he currently and in the past has received . How many songs did he write? How abut I'll Never Fall In Love Again, How about Rain Drops Keep Falling On My Head.. Oh man.

  • beautiful cover!

  • danyhg92, comparto tu gusto musical; si bien ,la version de dusty es fantastica la de the zombies es magistral.

  • I had only heard Dusty's version but this is just as fantastic

  • @Danyhg92 - isaac hayes has a good one as well, much more different that all the others

  • I hear The Zombies' influence all over Opeth's Burden, one of my favourite songs by this otherwise unique progressive metal band. The songwriter said himself that he recently discovered The Zombies around that time. One would think such styles are incompatible, but the result is a perfect and organic amalgamation.

  • a versatile band; their style was unique and innovative. the lead singer has sweet, yet mysterious vocals. 'time of the season' is a prime example of that.

  • When I hear anything by The Zombies and I think of London's Carnaby Street in the late '60s, perhaps Twiggy in a fashion show!

  • There are 9 dislikes... Correct me if I'm wrong, but I just have to assume at this point that there are either some really die-hard Burt B. fans or people watch videos and some how get off on being buzzkills.

  • me thinks the version of ABC is much better

  • I don't like it and that's all I can say about it

  • best version of this song... ever!

  • "The sweet & swinging sound of The Zombies".........Priceless!

  • great song

  • This is really quite beautiful. Never thought the Zombies had such magnificent gifted voices. I listened to them as a teenager and jammed but now that I'm older, listening to their depth and clarity I can fully appreciate good singing . This is 'outta this world'.

  • Outstanding-Fell in love with song when I saw Casino Royale.

  • Genial, que gran cantante y que grandes musicos, cancion envolvente con esa voz tan dulce y bonita.

  • Put Colin and Dusty together and what a version ! Would have love to hear it ! 2 sexy voices !

  • BRAINS!!

  • Rod Argent ? Top right. Just seen them playing at Mr Kyp's in Poole....brilliant, and Colin Blunstone still has that wonderful voice !!

  • who's Argent in the pic?

  • @PuroSkaSka Rod is top row on the right.

  • nice upload: love the picture, adore the song

    good job : )

  • This is beautiful!

  • I remember being a toddler and hearing this on the stereo. Funny how you remember these things..

  • @Auxatia lol I agree same thing happens for me. I remember a bunch of oldies that I would hear on the radio... a lot of 4 Seasons songs and Duke of Earl

  • The yer Is 1964

  • the zombies were perfect...bu tyou inane...ehehahah

  • does anyone know what year this was?

  • I was a half egg and half sperm when this song came out. But I think my mom must of listend to lots of the Zombie songs when she was prego with me. because I know most of these songs and I have no idea why?. smile.

    I love the Zombies.!

  • @Tasia714 I feel the same way,

  • Saw The Zombies in So. Cal. 2004-2005-2006....Arthur Lee & Love opened up the 2nd time I saw them. We 60's flower children r so lucky to be around such innocent creativity. This is the best version of a song that is truly moving...Dusty's is sexier though ....nod to Burt B. The Zom's had so many rarely played gems...Colin thanks for the chills.

  • Isaac Hayes' version is pretty intense too.

  • This is incredibly cool. I'm playing it again...

  • Beautiful, and haunting...only Colin can sing like this....sounds like a male version of Dusty Springfield!! Lovely redition!! jp

  • Wow, I never made that connection before.

    Thanks, your exactly right.

  • the beatles covers! kkkkkkkk

  • This is incredible so say the least !! Never heard it, this is Magic. One of the most beautifull songs I have ever heard -Haunting,Alluring,etc.

What a voice, only the ZOMBIES could produce this magical piece.

Thanks so much for posting this Unique & Great sound. Zombies are just literally out of this world !!

  • Kudos to the producer of The Zombies' to get that song to sound cool

  • First time i hear this version... just want to say that this is great... super!!!

  • I was fairly sure the singer was Colin Blunstone - certainly sounds like him.

  • more cowbell please

  • @frendo21 lol

  • <3

    the look of love

  • chris white singing this one?

  • the guy announcing at the beginning sounds a lot like arthur brown...

  • to erwintommy: LOL

great rendition of this song though, zombies style, melancholy and haunting

  • Great song but look at their faces! You can tell they just learned of the big screwing their manager just gave them!

  • it makes me feel soo sad and nostalgic

  • badass organ intro!

  • i love the zombies<3

  • Such a beautiful voice...

  • Great sound - the Zombies rock!!!!

  • I guess they did not pass the test of time, but they still rock.

  • man....they surely did! and in which way! better than the"known and successful" bands we all know....

they didn't burnt out, they endured like great wines just getting better with the time

  • Simply Beautiful !!!

  • Comment removed

  • you can't be that blind to history that the cords in the Byrds Beatles and CSNY are not right out of classic rock cook book! You do not need be loud to rock

  • smooth like velvet

  • non è giusto arr trasfigurati nell'incontro d'amore evid il loro è solo incontro di cazzi

  • A great trick is to get online, or go to a store, and BUY the song, instead of Limewire, Bit Torrent, etc. People will jump through all sorts of hoops to steal something, instead of just buying it, truly pathetic.

  • hey, anyone have this song? or know where to get it.

i was even willing to pay for it (lol) but its not on itunes...

  • Bitcommet I'm downloading a torrent called Zombie heaven it has what looks like everything they have recorded and the look of love is on it.

  • try lime wire i know how hard it is to find classics such as these to download

  • i couldn't find the torrent... but i really don't know how that works, and limewire gave me nothing! but if either of you had any luck let me know!

  • Ive downloaded a buch of zombies albums on a program called Dc++. You should be albe to find them on soulseek too.

  • Look on google for a free youtube to mp3 converter, any song you want on youtube.

  • go to google and type in youtube ipod converter... theres a program thats very easy and effective. it takes the video and loads it onto your computer, and than you drag and drop it into your iphone or ipod. hope it helps.

  • you look for this song on itunes but she's not there... chan chan chaaan!!!

  • lol yeah it wasn't but i figured out the converter (thanks!)

if you want it i can send it to you now :)

  • Another trick, if you have an apple computer, then you probably have garageband. Get rid of the piano track, add a new track, real instrument , get garage band on the screen and the safari with the u-tube page on the other half in such a way that you can access the play button on the utube page and the record button on garageband. Get a wire with two female heads that fit into a headphone slot. One goes in your headphone jack , the other into the input. Got enough info?

  • I'm not even going to explain how complicated and impractical that arrangement is, instead i shall just do a face palm and walk away knowing I'm a better person for doing so.

    *facepalm*

  • Hauntingly beautiful!!

  • Damm they rule this song, its a great song and they really nail it

  • Rod Argent, Chris White and Colin Blunstone meet Burt Bacharach. Very cool.

  • ice to re-discover how good the Zombies's vocal was.

  • This wonderful (Burt Bacharach and lyricist Hal David) song, made famous by Dionne Warwick and Dusty Springfield was just as wonderful when performed by the Zombies. God, I miss those days!

  • this band is legit

    i love the zombies

  • The band wasn't under rated. The were quite competent and had a number of popular songs, but they wer over shaddowed by The Who, The Beatles, The Rollingstones, all of whom were hyped to gazoo

  • Wasn't this song in the first Casino Royale film?

  • Yep!

  • This is such a great song...

    Perfect lyrics with stinging melody

  • I want to write a song like this. Burt's got talent.

  • Great music, soul, love, feeling, energy, human sound, melodies and magic....

  • Im 15 and man i got to say i love the 60's music. PEACE!

  • great voice great band great music Zombies

  • I love the Zombie originals like "She's Not There", but they did some decent covers, too, like this one and "Going Out of My Head". Why were they so underrated?

  • i do not know, but this is classic 60s music

  • Think of their competition at the time--The Beatles, The Stones, there were lots of good bands around at that time.

  • I love their music as much today and I did when I was a kid.

  • Best version of this classic. Hear more at two fat guys with nothing to do. com

  • zombies rock 15 year old :D

  • What an amazing song

  • Amazing tune, amazing band, amazing vocals. Pure melodical genius. I guess I'm trying to say I like this.
