Maybe he's using the word to just imply poverty but in America that word comes with racial implications too. A republican would never play the race card though, only democrats and liberals do that, so i'm going to assume that word choice had nothing to do with race.

Medicaid covers so little and pays the few doctors that are enrolled in the system, pennies on the dollar. It is a poverty grade medical program.

Yeah... I don't know what a "medical ghetto" might mean. I'm quite happy with my HMO... which is ~sort of~ military medicine reworked for low-income civilians. It's a niche market, for sure, but I wouldn't call that a medical ghetto.

And, if I ever DID use the term, I wouldn't pronounce it, "geh-het-toh." It's just two syllables.

He's pissed off about $8,000,000.00????? Over Five Years???? That used to be a lot of money until we found out that his party handed 250 billion dollars (ho many zero's is that?) to their CEO buddies. Maybe he should be happy if HE ends up getting any healthcare at all as he would wish on others.
