Money is a means to an end, not an end in itself. But I needed money from investors to bring the Thummer to market, so I had to explain to them why they would make more money, at lower risk, by investing in the Thummer than in anything else. The Thummer's unique musical capabilities were the reason why they could expect to earn significant returns.
What's your beef? Do you imagine that Stradivarius made violins for free? He had eleven children to support!
I have sushi, I red in the history the best artist were always without money..but rich inside.
I'm not saying u doing bad noooooo I like the idea u came up with but if u see the real world today...u see a young generation far away from all the art.dont u agree?
Currently, I'm developing courseware for music education that will enable people to understand music much more rapidly. It does not have the profit potential that I believe Thumtronics had...but if I can convince 1,000 people to subscribe to my lessons for $30 per year, I'll avoid starving...and be rich on the inside, doing what I love and bringing the younger generation closer to the art. Much more betterish.
The thummer is an amazingly well thought out instrument. I've been waiting for it to become availiable for two whole years!!! Will it have midi though?
Please! "Music's fault?" Just because a subject is hard does not make it it's fault. I reiterate what I said before: this product is promoting musical idiocy.
always talking about money ... america ... money..business... is not music better?

Yes. USB-MIDI for sure; not yet sure about the classic MIDI Out connector.

My favorite:
"How far away are we from the second stage?"
"About a million dollars."
