I know they have been ostracized from their communities, the TGIE have refused to issue them IDs, they have been kicked out of monasteries and BTW, all the great masters before HHDL worshipped Shugden, including HHDL's teacher Trijiang. LOL! HHDL also worshipped shugden till his 40s. France24 and Al Jazeera have very good documentaries on the issue. The Dalai Lama was the most powerful slave holder in Tibet. China abolished slavery in Tibet in 1950's. That was why The Dalai Lama and other slave holders in Tibet fled to India in 1959.
Slavery caused the American Civil War. Slavery caused the Dalai Lama and other slave owners' insurgency. They were almost the same.

There have been garrison in Tibet from the central gvmnt of China from 1720 according to documents I found. The CCP took over the central gvmnt in 1949, but they sent army to Tibet until 1951. The 14th Dalai Lama's insurgency was in 1959, which led to the first fight between the CCP army and the Tibetan defectors. China militarily attacked and occupied Tibet in 1949? The whole world knows that?!

In old Tibet before 1950, 88 percent of Tibeten people were born as slaves. Slaves didn't belong to themselves, they belong to their slave masters who occupied 5% of Tibeten population at that time. Slaves could be sold,bought,abused at the will of their masters!

I know from study that the so-called "Chinese occupation" allowed for the reform of the old Tibetan serf-system, which essentially liberated 95% of the Tibetan population. Ethnic Tibetan population doubled from 1.2m in 1950 to 2.5m here in 2008. Genocide claims don't add up!
