Nice video. Thats the most I have ever seen of Hawaii since I am broke and have never traveled anywhere:) Its makes me want to get a pilots license!

How long did it take you to get yours? Also where you scarred when you where first starting?
Flying/learning only on weekends - 9 months and about $10K, although I know people who've done it under $7K.
Nothing to be scared of - it's just like driving a car, only you can also go up and down :) Airplanes are the safest way to travel.
Nice video. I'm going to have to fly around the big island next time I'm there.
