Perhaps her neighbors could keep their companion animals on their own property.

Why should she be required to spray her yard or hire someone to clean it (will the Cat owner reimburse her the expense)..

This is the typical mentallity that cats owners have who think they have some God given right to deposit feces on their neighbors property on a daily basis.

The responsability is the Cat owners.

  • I commend and applaud this woman's compassionate efforts despite how most people in the public misunderstand feral/stray cats and ignorantly see them as a threat or nuisance.

  • Where would she be exposed to cat feces ? In her house?

This is a rare occurrence, From exposure outdoors to cat feces. Wow. That is very sad and my heart goes out to her.

I would not condemn the wild cat population because of one instance. She could spray the yard with cat repellant. Or have someone clean it regularly. There are services that do that.

My prayers go out to her and her babies.

  • We have 2 women in our community (neither of which own a cat) have had babies born with horrible health issues (constant medical care). The reason these Human Babies were born this way is because the mothers were exposed to cat feces. The diagnosis was one which is only transmitted by cats. These babies have be condemed to a horrible life so that Fluffy and Garfield can roam at will. It breaks my heart to see human babies suffering because Fluffy's owner has no reguard for life other than a cat

  • @RoadCaptainEntertain .....blaming 'Fluffy' and 'Garfield' for any genuinely "horrible health issues" for "Human Babies" ( gotta love how she capitalizes human babies so us psycho "animal lovers" don't lose sight of priorities and who are more important on our planet )- is not only ignorant but cruel. another poster already mentioned- how did the mother get exposed to the cat feces?? did the cats attack them and poop on them? Sorry, but it's ok to care for Humans and Animals too.

  • @metta108 It's called Toxoplasmosis and Fluffy's feces will become friable and airborne. Toxoplasmosis will and has remained active in the soil for up to 18 months after Fluffy has moved on.

Mother was exposed to Cat feces because her wonderful neighbors feel they have a God given right to use her property as a toilet as Fluffy roams at will.

I have never been able to reason with Pitt Bulldog owners or Crazy Cat ladies because they simply choose to ignore science.

  • sad .. Id save them if I could

  • doesn't make much sense to go in a bad neighborhood anything could happen to you then. Put yourself in harms way you could become statistic very easily. Be smart have a cop there or something then you can feed the cats

  • The fact that there are so many feral cats is heartbreaking. I found a mother and her 3 older kittens behind a dumpster. I'm going to TSR the mother and vaccinate them all. Hopefully, the kittens will be able to adjust to life with people.

  • Thank you for helping these cats, by no fault of their own they are left to fend for themselves.

  • Keep up the good fight!! Together we can solve this problem. Cats are wonderful and should be loved!!! Thank you for your video! I have a cat colony that I care for as well. Your a brave and great person!!

  • So sad...My big Tom cat was feral. We went to the pound looking for a dog and ended up with him. He is 2 years old and luckily he has adapted well to being a very much loved indoor cat.

  • I applaud you for you bringing this problem forward. I didn't know anything about what happens to the pets we leave at shelters, HOPING, WANTING TO BELIEVE, TO ASSUAGE our own guilt, that they WILL have homes, somebody, SOMEWHERE, will <poof!> themselves into existence, seeing all the qualities that we say in our family member that we did not love enough to keep ourselves, and of course, as in a fairy tale, it will be so very beautiful as they walk off into the sunset singing merry tunes. <sigh>

  • All of your efforts, while feeding and caring for these (invisible) animals, are invisible to most of society. The unfortunate part in bringing people like you to the forefront is that it draws attention to the colonies you feed, amd that is, in many cities these days, a death sentence. Ordinances here, ordinances there... you can't feed, you can't trap.. you can't s/n... these creatures were a part of somebody's FAMILY at some point or another. I am ashamed for us, all of us.
