do you do things at a gymnastics gym like into a pit or do you learn everything into water? if you go to the gym, how do you warm this one up. i am trying to learn it cuz i always (painfully) go over so i thought why not just go for the extra half flip
hey i love watching your videos. you seem like a really consistant diver. i'm doing a 2 and 1/2 tommorow at practice and im sort of nervous.. did u ever do one and are they hard? i go long on my doubles all the time so i need to dive it in for states. also, how do u do that dive? my coach wants me to get it but it like doesnt work out.. okay please respond back!! thank you =)
I'm sorry that this took me so long to reply! I actually think of 105's as one of my favorite dives, so no worries! You'll get a call, I'm assuming, so just wait for it and then kick out strong and confidently! You'll be fine! Just think positively and visualize it going perfectly! It will all be alright!
ohh thank you so much!! im going to try it.. i wish i heard that before haha i still didnt do it.. im so chicken. oh well i will have it for states since im throwing it anyway!!! ill do it tomorrow and let you know what happens! thank you soo much and keep on doing good! you look like a really really good diver
Excellent! The 103 is the first major step forward, in my opinion! My major tip is to make sure nerves do not get the best of you! Whenever you are nervous about doing a dive, remember this. You can go down two ways, either crying and angry down the ladder to the ground, or through the air, ending either fine or maybe a little bruised up, but happy that you went for it!
You will ALWAYS feel better if you go, believe me, and you, as well as your teammates, will have so much respect for you and your efforts! Go for it! Let me know how it works out!
It took me a few tries to get but once you do it it's really simple. You really just need go for it and it will be easy. You'll be fine! Let me know how it goes and good luck!
my one criticism is that you sort of ran out of room at the bottom and didnt fully extend on your entry...notice you rolled in a little bit...solid dive regardless...once u get stronger you'll be able to put more into the dive and be able to spot it like a regular front 1.5

5(twister)1(1spin)3(3 rotations)2( forgot)d(straight)

sandpup321 3 years ago
Very very close! It's this:
5(twister)1(forward)3(rotations, as in 3 halves of a flip)2(twists, and in 2 halves of a twist)d(free, any position).
Hope this helped!
