Evolutionist basically think at some point non living matter became living forming cells that could reproduce, and overtime starting life. Thats basically sciences' explanation on how life started in a nutshell. And as a kid you learned Living organisms can not come from Non Living organism. But somehow this was an exception...

But just to give a few good reasons why, like I said, something had to start it all. And you're right, things can't just pop into being. God by definition is not a thing. When given the choice between believing in a band theory or a god creating them, it makes more sense to say a god because particle have to be acted on/created. God by definition does not have to be created.

Some characters believe the book was just exploded into existence on its own. Some believe it was written by a person who exists outside the book's story and rules but is involved in what goes on and has a purpose and deeper meaning for each character. The author exist outside the book just as God exists outside of our time.

i understand what u are saying and agree with you that stories can be twisted or exaggerated over long periods of time, but im pretty sure (somebody please correct me if im wrong) that the gospels (stories of jesus) were written by his disciples that lived with him on a day to day basis practically right after he ascended to heaven (or at least thats what i believe as a protestant christian), so to me i dont understand how these stories could be twisted over time.

With few exceptions all experts will say that Jesus was a Jewish teacher from galilee and died on the cross. Everything else is up for discussion but to say that Jesus was not real all together is just false.

I have tried religion and I didn't really seem to have any epiphanies or notice anything to change my mind or make me believe in anything of the sort.
But don't take what I'm saying the wrong way, I fully believe that being kind to one another and such is a great idea.
It's just that simply there is no evidence of a man name Jesus Christ.
Out of all the written works of historians and scholars of the time and area he would have been in, VERY few of them even mention...

One would think, or atleast I would, that if someone was going around performing miracles of healing and the like, he would have gotten a little more recognition and been recorded to some extent outside of the Bible, but in reality, he wasn't.
Again, don't take any of this the wrong way, the basic virtues are great. But in no way proves Jesus.

Actually almost all historians will admit that there was a man named Jesus (actually not Jesus there is not J sound in hebrew or greek as far as we know his Hebrew and/or Aramaic name was Yeshua). With few exceptions all experts will say that Jesus was a Jewish teacher from galilee and died on the cross. Everything else is up for discussion but to say that Jesus was not real all together is just false.

Ok I admit I underestimated you, you clearly have researched this. But just out of curiosity, were you just looking for Jesus and/or Jesus Christ? Did you try looking for Yaweh (I'm probably spelling that wrong) or any other Hebrew names?
Also, from a Christian perspective, Christ would refer to Jesus since he was The Anointed One, if that makes any sense.

I was raised Protestant, and then went to a Catholic highschool. Whenever we had to say the Lord's prayer, I would continue with the last part and then get confused when all my Catholic friends around me wouldn't.
By the time I was a Senior, though, I got it down. XD
