One of the great stars of all time at M-G-M pictures and in film musicals. A practical, down-to-earth, hardworking lady who never bought into stardom and wouldn't let anyone push her around. She was very loved.

What a different outcome if MGM and other studios only gave her more opportunities to use her talents - a shame that didn't happen.

Kathryn.........you were one of MGM's brightest stars. One of the best singers ever. I've only seen a few of your movies but your voice was always the highlight of them. Your scene in Till the Clouds Roll By singing Make Believe was one of the most beautiful singing I've ever heard. RIP Kathryn.

sorry to inform all here that Ms Grayson died of natural cause on 17th February 2010 at her Los Angeles home aged 88. My heartfelt condolences to her family and her many fans. There will never be another like her.
