I just attempted my kinky twist and they came out great. I used 2 packs because I wanted them small. The bigger your twist the more you'll need. My twist were medium small if that helps anyone. :)
wow this is great. ive never had mine done before and now i can. how long did it take you to complete your whole head? and how many packs did you use? please respond, thank you :)
i have beyond shoulder length natural hair of the mixed girl variety. my hair is still pretty curly, but what I was wondering was' do i have to braid my hair at the root first before twisting? I really like this style and your videos. Plus if you dont recomend this style for my hair type, do you havr any suggestions? Thanks
ugh, nap how do you know everything about everything? lol thanks so much girl! i'm gonna be doing this style next weekend and leaving it in for a month or so.
I absolutely love this tutorial. I am doing my own kinky twists for the first time this weekend and using your vid as a guide. I hope they come out as great as yours!
I have been wanting kinky twists for the longest and have watched so many vids to get the idea of it. Yours was well explained and demonstrated. Thanks. I'll be rocking these soon.
Naptural, how long did it take you to do this? I'm curious to know because I think I'll be doing individual box braids with this kind of hair. It will be my first time braiding my own hair and I'm just wondering if I'll be able to do it. Also, how many bags did you use?
out of school for the summer. I think i will try this. Im scared too because i hate messing with my hair but i guess i should probably learn so i don't have to pay anyone else!!!
Ooo.. I've been wanting to do this since last year but didn't want to pay $60 plus the hair. Now I can do it for free on my own time! Thank you so much ^_^
@kekambas79 Yes you can! I just did my natural hair just like that. I just skipped dipping the rods in the hot water. My hair stayed curly on its own. =)
thats whats up. First time I saw someone do their own twists and they look this good. I love how many different things sistas can do with their hair. we get so creative!
i just wanted to tell u that ur videos are awsome!! and u do a great job at explaining things...and i had inspiration to do my own hair after watching this video....WAY TO GO!!
does the fake hair have to be curly or can it be straight? Also i'm in transition so will it work on partly straight hair? hope their not stupid questions, i'm a beginner. LOVE your videos and i'm so happy i found you.
Nap- I love your channel and God bless you. Please answer this question for us new BCs. How do you maintain the twist weekly, ddaily, etc. How long did this style last for you? Did you re-dip the ends ? Did you wash & condition your twists & how often?Did you prep your hair for the twists? How long did it take to do?

I so much love your channel. Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge.
I have a question off topic. I noticed that you took down a lot of your videos. And the ones you now have have the same type of background music. Is this backgorund music attached to your video editing software?
I am asking because I applied for partnership but was denied due to"not having enough original content"
thank you for this vid! :) I came back to watch it again b/c I just bought the hair today for my kinky twists. this is my 1st time doing them on my hair on my own. So im pumped for this lol. This vid is the only one i've seen so far on YT that makes sense to me. THis gives me hope
hey nap! :D just first wanted to say that I loooove your videos, and they are going to be super helpful on my journey to natural hair. So thank you very much.
My question is: do you need to buy individual curling rods and actually set each twist for 10 minutes after dipping it in the hot water?
Wow, so cute! How long did it take you to do your whole head? My major difficulty will be to have the patience to do my whole head...but I need to work on protective styles. How long will you leave these in? How do you clean your scalp/can you wash these? Do you use anything to moisturize/spray daily? I love the music in the background too! THANK YOU!
Great video very easy for a beginner braider to follow, but there is one thing that you should mention is that you should not dip your natural hair in boiling hot water it dries the hair out. Just a friendly tip: you should dip below where the natural hair ends. I have enjoying all of videos that you are reloading, I am a new subbie and I have been braiding hair for 20 years.
Lol, hey Rheasharae! Umm, I looked it up and it said it was a "Flash" issue. So it said that you could download a youtube application for the iPhone that should help..? Lol, Sorry I hope that helps! <3
@Rheasharae I have an Ipod Touch and for the flash issue you would have to download the app called Cloud Browse. Just go to the Itunes store and search for Cloud Browse
Thanks so much for this video. I have never seen anyone put as much detail as you have. I actually could see the whole process easy and feel like I could do that on my own hair. Never would have attempted this before, but with your video as reference. Hey I could totally do this. Two thumbs up!!!
@pintofowl hey, this is a reuploaded video... she made this a long time ago... she just had problems with the music before so she had to take it down in order to become partner...
