If you're wondering why Ganyes, Frye, Garrett, and Johnson are the only major actors credited here, I think Dulcon intended for their characters to be the only major roles, and other characters would appear sparingly, this changed perhaps because the episode "Walk Pool" must have gotten particularly high ratings

I always thought it was sad that the old man would die probably when Punky was a teenager or something and she would be devastated. I think Cherry was kind of a bad influence and once the old man was gone she probably would have resorted to drug use.

Why did they switch from the colourful crayon writing to using this normal and really boring font for the credits?

LoL. They started Season 2 using the crayon font, but then switched it to the boring font. And then in seasons 3 and 4 when Punky's a teen, they reverted back to the colorful crayon writing when the boring font would've been more fitting w/ Punky being more grown up and all.

@WorldNews92 i think probably they were developing the season 3-4 opening and it took a while to develop so they did the season 2 opening with an 80's font that way we wouldn't wait 4eva 2 c season 2
