At least it takes some time to use Rangers. I met this person in PvP using a Ranger and he/she usually uses a mage. That person said that Rangers are hard to use since their skills take some time to get used to. Rangers don't just wait for an opening to do rising shot or windmill. I am a Ranger and I go head on to my opponents. I don't just sit there. All the Spitfires that I've pvped against do something annoying, though. When they drop me they spam nades and shoot like crazy. Nice skill.

I play a ranger also, and I find it much easier to play than using a spitfire. And your mage pal using a ranger. That's real easy to explain. When you switch from one style of play to another, it will ALWAYS take time getting used to it or even some practice. It's not easy going from one class type to another and getting used to a whole different button and skill setting. Rangers are the easiest thing in the world to use. Their skills are straightforward. Too straightforward.

Oh and one more thing, seeing as how spitfires have it even more difficult when fighting other classes when they get too close siply because they dont have som random nifty counter attack skill they can use the moment they get hit, Oh and with a chance of stun? In a spitfires world, unheard of. The only thing they can protect themselves with is a successful freeze nade.or nade of any sort. Some nades share a cooldown timer.

Even so, Spitfires have one ultimate super armor skill that none of the other gunner classes can beat. Niel Sniping has unbreakable super armor and it cannot be interrupted. It counts as both close and long range, and it deals way more damage than the ranger skills you think are so good. The fact that you can aim, and it can hitstun and stun to get in more consecutive hits.
