The original band doing "Ain't that just like me". These guys were as good as the Beatles, if they only could have wrote the same great songs and if they only could have gotten along. Frank Allen was a fine replacement for Tony Jackson, but things were never the same. Thanks again for posting!

To get a guest spot on Ed's big Shoooooooooooooow must have had a major impact on there US career plus there big hit with a Sonny Bono penned song didn't hurt either. I like the Hollies version of this song much better...although this version comes in a close 2nd.
Good energy from The All Original Searchers, the levels were horrible, but I Must remember it was the 60's, but where was Pender's guitar, the bass level was atrocious, and just in general the effort from the sound engineers was basically HORSESHIT! Otherwise it was cool to catch The Searchers in their natural prime! So: Thanks CCFan for the heads up, You Tube for the ever obliging space, and to Searchers fans everywhere: ROCK ON SHINDIGGERS! I Would be remiss to fail to thank SixtiesPopGold2!!
@9erfandex - 9er, my Friend, you have a way with words! Bless your enthusiastic heart! As I told SixtiesPopGold2, we want the video -- warts and all!!! Just let us see the Searchers!!! Because I, personally, just want to look at ♥♥♥ MY Chris ♥♥♥! Searchers fans are a rabid group of people -- and I am grateful for being in that category! Thank you, again, SixtiesPopGold2 -- for the vid!!! It's wonderful!
@ChrisCurtisFan Thanks, but I don't like when people put the audio from a record to the clip. I want the authentic audio, even though it may sound inferior.
@SixtiesPopGold I totally agree! I want the real audio and the real video. :-) And my Searchers friends are enjoying your post! Many, many thanks, again!
i love the searchers, thanks for the upload. i think their best song is Bumble Bee. this particular clip of from the ed sullivan show (remove this comment if that puts the video at risk)
Pretty cool, well done..the drummer stands and plays..interesting...and we called the Beatles "clean cut"...
