love the kit. b8's are great cymbols for the money. but you cant say they suck untill you have them in person. i know alot of people who do that.

i have a b8 14" and it sounded the best at guitar center for the money.

They are good cymbals. no problems although now that i have them , i have compared them to sabians other lines and well they are inferior

@nickisepicwin Makes sense. They are student level cymbals made out of B8 bronze not B20. They are designed for casual players and students who want bronze, but dont have the money or determination for better lines like AA or HH. when you realize that. They sound great, especially compared to Sbr. I hate the sound of brass.

Realized, on both the others I saw of you, you have Zildjian cymbals and the date was 2007, and this one says new Sabian B8 cymbals and the date is 2010... Why in the hell would you trade Zildjian for Sabian B8's?!

Sabian B8 are really good sounding for the money you put into them, and FYI, you can get those at Guitar Center for $230, same exact pack. I keep trying to tell people to look more into it before spending that much money.

I personally prefer Sabian to Zildjian, and as I usually play mainly rock as opposed to Jazz I use the AAX range out of preference.

If you want to make a sweeping generalisation of what cymbals tend to be best then this is it's simplest form.

Zildjian A Custom and Sabian AA/AAX = Best for live

Zildjian K Custom and Sabian HH/HHX = Best for studio

@15Shenlong Err... I wouldn't recommend you to get this cymbal unless your a beginner...B8 is good a cymbal FOR beginner level. If you want to get mid-level cymbals, i HIGHLY RECOMMEND you to get Paiste PST-5 :D

@15Shenlong I wouldn't recommend you to get ZBT (It's for beginner and it sucks. I rather get the B8). For mid-level, ZXT is not bad and ZHT is good (ZHT is better but ZXT is cheaper.) For professional level, the K, Avedis, K-Custom & A-Custom are very good (K-Custom & A-Custom is better because their level is the highest and sounds better but they are more expensive).

Nice cymbals but actually try to play something that isnt so concentrated in speed, I learned the hard way that speed doesn't equal good. Try picking up some funk or latin stuff I promise you its about the same as hard as playing metal and it has more complexity.

guys i got a question, i need new cymbals and want a double base pedal. should i buy a double base pedal and a set of sabian b8's ( 14 hats 16&18 crash 20 ride) or should i buy a set of better cymbals and save up money for a double base pedal later? the cymbals i have now are totaly crap and sound probably worse than trash can lids.

@CrimsonStorm92 as I say to all drummers who start out, dont get a Double Bass Drum Pedal towards the beginning of your epic era of drumming. I did the exact same and now I am heavily dependant on it and cannot fully appreciate the techniques that the single pedal has to offer, and I play all genres including metal, I reccomend learning either Slide or Heeltoe techniques

@McShmooopy and with the cymbal issue, I highly reccomend the use of Sabian B8's and the purchase of them first as cymbals oughtta last you for years if you take care of them.And allows you to devleop your footwork, and remember greatness on a shite pedal will be godly on good pedals.

@ZEO8317 Because the B8s sound like piss, this video may have somehow fooled you, but they are absolute crap, and made from 8% tin, instead of 20% like ALL pro level cymbals. They are extremely overpriced for the shit sound you get out of them, if you are looking for a decent set of cheap cymbals, wuhan has a new traditional like made from 20% tin around this pricerange. People really need to look past the big 3 and explore other cymbal options

@unduswaffel Compare the Soundcaster's or the MB10s, to the MB20, or the Byzance lines. You would have to be a complete moron to not hear that the MB20's/Byzances totally blow the rest out of the water, with absolutely no debate. And when it comes to paiste, i dont care for any of the cymbals with exception to the the Twenty series, (and very very few of the 2002 series) i dislike most all of their products. B20 is far more musical than B8, B10, and B12.....
