My old hamster use to make his nest in the ball/wheel attached to his cage! We tried to get him to make it somewhere els but after a while we gave up and bought another wheel so he could still get exercise. Now my Gerbils do the same thing! XD

That is another myth. I have had hamsters for around 10 years and always used tissue as a bedding. I've never had a hamster have digestive issues. They say the same about degu bedding and giving them tissue or kitchen towels but they really are safe. Most animals won't eat the bedding only chew it.

aww i remember when we started off with two hamsters and we ended up with 10 haha they sure were busy but sadly they all died at the same time my mom used to take them out in the cage for fresh air but she places them in the shade summers in california are hot so one day my dad took them out but he put them out in the hot sun plus fur = bad so they fried :(
