Y'know I just wanted to drop another comment to say (a) I've read the book now and am impressed at how true you two stayed to it and (b) has anyone else heard of the American remakes of the Death Note movies? :D *has a brief fangirl moment* The director says he thinks they should take it back to the manga and ignore the Japanese movies! And if the main movies are a success, the chances go WAY up that they'll make an LABB movie!

Like another person said, the fire effects were a weak point - but I'm guessing they'd be really hard to do! (Mello looked kind of... um... girly, too.) Your BB was brilliant; my favorite part was where Naomi and - well, BB I think (haven't read the book) were talking, and she looks like she's saying 'Not gonna work' and he's saying 'Sure it will, try it,' and then she sits down in the chair like him! Some parts were actually scary, which is hard to pull off!
