  • 2 words...Top Shelf!

  • Harold and Teddy's combination was providential !

And Sharon Paige a great talent !

  • Sharon Paige made Teddy Pendergrass sing here,,,his duets with Stephanie Mills are ok,,,but SP made him bring it

  • thanks daveonetone ur gr8

  • Has been and will always be one of my all time favorites

  • This rates right up there with Butler and Lee Edgar's "Ain't Understanding Mellow". If you can sway and bounce into a room while this is playing, you're gonna catch a lot of the ladies eyes. They'll give you that shy smile and then...But I reminisce...

  • OMG! I love this song. I was born 1984 and I heard it from my parents playing it in the house. I loooove this song. So beautiful!

  • I grew up during the 70s, and I was exposed to so much great music. I consider myself very blessed to grow up when I did, when great music was being recorded. I took it for granted back then, but by the mid 80s, I knew that music would never be as good as the 70s, and every decade since the 70s, the music has progressively got worse.

  • real R&B right here...

  • 1975 they had another huge hit, "wakeup everyone".

Shortly after that, Teddy left the group and became a huge solo artist. Not bad for the former drummer of Harold Melvin Blue Notes. R.I.P. Harold Melvin and Teddy Pedergrass,

  • Smmmoooth Silky soul.... Music to make babies to!!!

  • One of Harold Melvin's best!

  • Beautiful!!! This has been a favorite since it first came out. I'll never part with it.

  • The very first time i heard this song was the day we buried my aunt who died when i was about 9 years old. She was young herself, in her early 20's. Damn how i miss her. Every time i hear this song, I always pause for moment, just to think of her. She would have been in her late 50's by now. Crushed my father, because she was his only sibling. They both lost their mother when they were young too. Yvonne Henry you are always missed. Your nephew, Mike

  • Teddy gets most of the shine as far as lead vocals, but melvin could bring.

  • I second that I was at a Jean Carn Concert over the weekend and she and a band member sang this and it sound so good. This song is timeless

  • this song is 36 years old and still sounds good today, proof that good music NEVER, EVER DIES!!

  • listen how sweet teddy come in CLASSIC!!!

  • One of the Greatest - Miss the 60's and 70's music - cannot be approached today

  • picked this up the other day. I'm glad I didn't pass it up.

  • what a beautiful song...love the combination of sharon paige and harold melvin and the bluenotes...was in high school when this song came out and it still moves me...

  • KW dis my dedication 2 u u heard i cant wait!

  • God, I hate gettin old; I remember when this came out, for God`s sake!!!

  • @estyle40 I hear ya! I remember this when it came out too. We had a band then. We were just kids. "My how the time does fly," as she said.

  • @hanknell You got that right, and ya know the sad part? This beat ANYTHING out there today!!!
