thats a good thought. it says on the soul calibur wiki (wikis notalways true) that he spent so much time in the money pit that he weant blind and since there was no one to talk to he became mute. but thing is thieves are around so he kept his hearing (and it sort of debunks what you said)

hes blind deaf and mute, his interpretation of movement of his own body is different than people with those sense. imagine being in a pitch black room without being able to hear, or better yet go try it, your style of movement will start to differ
