came to incubus for Anna Molly, decided to just download (*cough*... buy...) the album it was on and then it turns out the new stuff doesnt hold a candle to the early days

just saying folks, they can change they can do whatever the fuck they want its still the same band

Great great tune. Completely ridiculous lyrics (even Brandon said "What the hell was I thinking when I wrote this song?") , some of the funkiest bass in years, and it's just infectiously upbeat. Wish their new stuff had the same level of funky energy sometimes.

@astrozabass Yeah I know. Two very different bands, but it's just that I'm more familiar with rhcp so when I hear the funky bass line they come to mind because its similar. But Incubus is a great, talented band.

@fahlerfreak The band don't suck at all. They're amazing at what they do, it's just some fans (such as you) refuse to listen to new things, and when the band changes, for good or bad, they whine and complain.

@BenLikesTurtles The problem is they completely changed their sound. You can't expect someone who liked these funky songs to like their new songs too just because the name of the band hasn't changed. Plus, suggesting people to follow a band whether their music is good or not makes no sense, they are not deaf, they can judge.

@TheGreek117 I agree.  I happen to like both, but they are very different. And I am honestly more partial to the older Incubus, everything up to Morning View. In my opinion, that's when they were greatest. I still find the newer stuff entertaining and creative, but it just doesn't have that sound that sucks me in, and makes me wanna fry out.
