I don't think I could do this for my own son without breaking down. You're a strong woman, Jo! I think everyone is amazed by and proud of the dignity with which you and Spencer have handled this darkest of times. God bless you both....
Jo you and Spencer are in my thoughts and prays god love you two for being so strong this is how David would of wanted you and Spencer to be in this time .You are a AWESOME MOTHER AND POLICE OFFICER my god be with your family for months come
It's so strange the things we remember. David Moore responded to a call in our neighborhood back in the fall and broke up a disturbance with some of the rowdier elements. As usual, I was on the porch wearing an old IPD ball cap reading a book. He looked at me, smiled and tipped me a wave. I remember thinking at the time "What a great looking kid. He has to be skilled to get those nuts to be calm". Now, months later, here he is again. I'd deal with the nuts if it meant he could be here.
we hate to see you go officer daivd moore you where a good person a good friend when i seen your mom doing this i broke down crying watching an listing to her to say that bud we all are going to miss a good guy a good friend a an the greatset imp officer out there
Live on with his legacy, live on with his pride, God will keep him now. My father is an IMPD officer, and sadly never worked with Moore and his family. May Jesus watch over the Moore family, may David rest in peace.
This made me cry. I've attended two law enforcement funerals, one being my great grandfather & the other being a guy I went to High School with. These are quite tear jerkers & not like your normal funerals. .R.I.P David!!
As Jesus died on the cross so that we could live, Officer David S. Moore died so others could live as well. Thank you to the family of Officer Moore for allowing us to have him for the short time we did, protecting the streets of the city in which we live. He will be forever remembered for what he did in life, but he will also be forever remembered for the life his death has allowed. RIP Officer Moore and continued prayers to the family.

@Travisjd117 I'm pretty sure it was Mom's own radio-- She's a Sgt. on the same Dept.
