He moves around the stage in seconds, so he can run away or give chase to a smash ball. take that out and memorize: Air Front, Neutral B, Dash Attack, B+Up, Quick Evades. Time it right and you'll render him useless, trust me. Sonic player Got me over 179% and still wasn't able to KO me with the obvious attacks, while I did get him a couple of times.

Honestly, Snake and Sonic both blow n SSBB. In their own games they're okay(well, Sonic is hit and miss), but here it just doesn't work. I don't care if Sonic somehow knows kung-fu or that Snake learned CQC from the best, that's fine and dandy, maybe if the SSB series was balanced it could've worked. But no, we don't see snake pull off any fancy CQC moves and most of Sonic's attacks were simple kicks and a spindash.

While Sega is a third party developer, the Sonic games are one of the leaders/All-Stars in the gaming universe yet.
I'm not saying that he isn't a poor character, but it feels natural that he got inducted into the roster.

But really. He is one of the lamest characters in Brawl. Not because of being cheap, but for lacking real strengthes and weaknesses. He moves around the stage in seconds, so he can run away or give chase to a smash ball. take that out and memorize: Air Front, Neutral B, Dash Attack, B+Up, Quick Evades. Time it right and you'll render him useless, trust me. Sonic player Got me over 179% and still wasn't able to KO me with the obvious attacks, while I did get him a couple of times.

fun fact; when the EGM april fools joje came out it explained that you had to complete ALL modes with ALL players. A LOT of people who managed to do it complained. so, as an apology, EGM rewarded everyone who said they did it and proved it got a free copy of sonic adventure 2 battle. it just so happens im 1 of those people.

Honestly, Snake and Sonic both blow n SSBB. In their own games they're okay(well, Sonic is hit and miss), but here it just doesn't work. I don't care if Sonic somehow knows kung-fu or that Snake learned CQC from the best, that's fine and dandy, maybe if the SSB series was balanced it could've worked. But no, we don't see snake pull off any fancy CQC moves and most of Sonic's attacks were simple kicks and a spindash.

Sonic is so much faster then all the others because that is his characteristic.....he's not cheap, its an honest portrayal of sonic, he's just that much better then the other brawl characters.
this is what makes M&S at the Olympics a crappy game, it's not realistic. Sonic would ALWAYS win without any effort.
