Good idea but Nintendo already tried all of this and made it better for Super Paper Mario for Wii about a few years prior to this. This is kinda the same concept except you can't jump into the background and revert to 2D.

I am indeed a fan of FreddieW, which is why I was very surprised to see his Mario POV video come out while I was already a few weeks into editing this idea!
