A lot of schools are given computers by apple, so it makes sense if they're using apple computers. Apple suing them over the logo now thats just silly. The logo's are not exactly alike, the schools logo is colored in, doesn't have a bite and has mountains on it. If anyone confuses the two for the same thing, I think thats an insult to people in general.

I agree with Apple. Just because VSBT is a small company doesn't mean they can get away with it. The logo's are way too similar in my opinion and they are right. Apple is way too big of a company and they have every right to protect what they have built.

Superimpose the images on top of each other then say they don't match. One leaf, leaf placement, gauss. drop-shadow, border effect, trademark placement... its either a case of outright copy-catting ( which is great for media attention ) or the designer had one of those moments where they regurgitated something that was embedded in their mind ( good job Apple! ) and passed it off as their own...it happens. Apple is not threatened by VSBT, they are just preventing the dilution of their trademark.

There are logos wich are very similar to each other but haven´t been any bitching about it. Just look at Honda and Hyndai. The apple the school are using look different and has colour in it.

"David" (VSBT) needs better logo design. Maybe they need to take some of their own classes. VSBT should have stuck with their original circular logo sans apple.

VSBT is the only one benefitting from the negative publicity and to claim Apple is doing this for that reason is just blame shifting.
