fodacvc, if you'll look at any demo video, you'll see that the POG gives you an option to have THREE octaves at the same time, one lower, one higher, and another one even higher. Joe simply uses one octave up and one down at the same time.

what...the POG? it's a pedal from electro-harmonix that produces multiples octaves at the same time. e.g. you play a note and you can generate 2 octaves above and 1 below that note all at the same time to create a really "big" sound =)

the POG is what Satch call a giant robot's guitar tone lol...
