  • - Thank you Peter Shiff for explaining economics and current economic crisis ... I know now what is going on ... After collapse of financial institutions I wanted to know what is going on and WHY ... I found your video ...

Many people are in the dark they do not know what is going ON ...

  • Ronald Reagan famous speach about ,,, Rule of Law , not rule of the jungle ,

USA administration shits on rule of LAW and USA administration pushed Law of the jungle in the world .

I do not know can you see that ... Invasion Of IRAQ based on lies, Invasion of Afganistan to chase one man(USA goverment created) , It is all Bullshit

World is less secure and no one feels safe .. THANKS to USA I do not know who leads USA.

  • Barack Obama steped on the gas... lol

  • Ronald Regan spent his entire career trying to put an end to wasteful government spending. The money he spent was money that purchased the peace dividend. He won a war with oppressive communism without firing a shot. We have used the money he so wisely spent for decades since in our military. It's a shame that we squandered the peace dividend that Reagan bought us.

  • I remember the 1980 election vary well.

Those who supported Bush threatened to leave the Republican party if Reagan was nominated. Reagan compromised and made Bush VP. Reagan was a libertarian who believed in the Gold standard and small government, but

Reagan had to deal with a Democrat controled congress and an unfriendly media. I think he did the best anyone could do.

  • "i don't worry about the deficit." - Ronald Reagan

"Reagan taught us deficits don't matter." - Dick Cheney

  • That's why any Republicans out there better wake up and join the FREEDOM MOVEMENT. We are NOT republicans OR Democrats. However, many republicans feel good about that party because of the nicey nice talk. All that said, AT LEAST Regan spent money puchasing peace with the Communists and avoiding a 3rd world war. Regan was also one of the most outspoken politicians AGAINST deficit spending. He had a democratic congress and I guess you could say that he made "Compromises."

    NO MORE COMPROMISE

  • Nah. Reagan pontificated for his entire career about balanced budgets and fiscal responsibility. But in eight years Reagan never once submitted a balanced budget to Congress.

And George W. Bush was exactly what Reagan would have been like if Reagan had had a Republican Congress like Bush did.

  • Nope it is both parties are owned and bought by big business, yes cunton aka clinton too.

  • I don't see the relevance to Peter Schiff.

Ronald Reagan was largely responsible for the greatest economic expansion and growth in the history of mankind. I can't really debate it here. you have a good point in the fact that he didn't live up to his promise to eliminate the deficit spending.

However, he did live up to his promises to create jobs, create economic stability and to put an end to the threat of communism. For those accomplishments, he was a great man.

  • Of course Reagan didn't worry about the deficit, after the USSR fell he had no intention of keeping up deficit spending.

  • Peter Schiff and His Father Irwin Schiff and brother Andrew Schiff are nominated into Free The Nation's Freedom Fighter Wall of fame. Other members include Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, Andrew Napolitano, Ron Paul and James Madison.

  • I dont like the way a country's debt is passed of as "foreign debt" it may be, but if you follow the cookie trail it will always lead to money created from a bank via fractional reserve banking.

Why can people not ask the obvious question, namley who exactly can a country be in debt to? or more precisely who can the whole world be in debt to?

So what Peter is saying is correct monetary policy but only within the framework of a fraudalant money system.

The system itself has to be addressed.

  • America needs this collapse, maybe then we can end all these entitlement programs, reduce the spending on the military, and return to the Constitution.

  • unites states of zimbabwe...oh shit for hyperinflation

  • funny one

  • People have been predicting the collapse of the American dollar for over 10 years. We were just whacked out conspiracy theorists. Sound economic principles are not conspiracy theories. We all know cause and effect, and we are all aware at what happens when you interfere with natural cause and effect. We are sheep that shake our heads and worry about what to do. We don't take responsibility for our own personal lives and how we treat people, and then cry when others treat us poorly.

  • My uncle is a korean vet and I grew up with him telling me to always be ready with guns, water, gold, ammo in case things fall apart and they come for us. I grew up with Austrian econ. I'm 41 and I cry for my beloved country

  • Hey Kotash,

We don't have time to cry. Let's focus our energy on getting Peter Schiff Elected. My strategies are:

    1. Awarness through sharing video links

    2. Donating my money and time

    3. Buying numerous copies of his book and starting a book club with friends to encourage reading and sharing of ideas.

    4. calling LIBERAL radio talk shows to help the hosts understand. Most of them are very poorly educated

  • What we need to do is PATIENTLY educate people. They are starting to see that this path is unsustainable. The biggest deficit in the United States is the Educational Deficit. It is our responsibility to show leadership. While it can be frustrating, I have learned that many more people care and just need a little help in understanding how it all works. Their public school education (sorry teachers) has left them unprepared to be good stewards of their country. This is our task.

  • please good people of Conn, elect this guy. He simply is the most qualified candidate who actually could help get us out of this mess,

  • What are we going to do if they won't lend us money at ANY rate??? The United States has put itself at risk of Economic Warfare.

  • Yessir !

  • How can they project 10 trillion in deficits over the next year years? It is based on one of their firm beliefs, as was very well refuted in Atlas Shrugged,

"they run hog-wild proclaiming that spending, the effect, created riches, the cause."

  • Based on their projections from 10 years ago, Perhaps we should revise their projections to TWENTY TRILLION DOLLARS IN DEFICIT. We all must pitch in and do our part to STOP THIS INSANITY!!!

  • Great Speech....bravo Peter!

  • Teaser rate is a great way to think about it. It's nice to have some honesty.
