Could've done without the background music. KVD has the best set up I've seen so far. He doesn't miss a trick. He carries an extra trolling motor in his boat and I think he has a spare in his Tundra. Kevin also carries a spare Humminbird. Plus he has the cookies.
now let me see,i read somewwhere that after 30 minutes with a hot foot their foot go to sleep or get sleepy. or maybe i heard someone say that after 2.5to 3hr theirs might go to sleep, do you have a hand throttle in your vehicles or a chauffeur lol! yeah stick too the cookie cutters better off
@bassfishinguy Well, I don't know about you but if I make a run from more than 30 minutes with a hotfoot.....my leg starts going to sleep. The length of the run they were making to Venice.....it kinda makes sense, granted it does pose a safety issue if you have to come out of the gas real quick or you have take evasive action.
@ColReb2000 That makes sense, I guess I didnt account for his 2.5hr-3hr run. I live in WI and there are only a few bodies of water that you can run over an hour on lol
@bassfishinguy i was a marshal with iaconelli several years ago on kentucky lake. i don't recall him having a hot foot at that time either. i know a few local guys who prefer the hand throttle just because that's what they've always known. i'm about to finally put a hot foot in my boat this fall. too many rough days this year not to have one.
@TheGrant4080 there is a really good one somewhere. Try "kevin van office" It was with a mexican reporter and he shows way more detail than Mike did in this video.
Good lord... Mike's boat is loaded with every single thing you can think of. I doubt Mike wants that Lowrance radar on the back of his boat, but Lowrance's money talks.
@Fingolfin3423 No, he absolutely wanted it, like many others in that tournament. Money had nothing to do with it. The tournament days were delayed with fog, and there were unsafe navigating conditions on the long runs. With reduced day lengths and long runs, getting to spots quickly and safely was of the utmost. If they were doing it for money, everyone would still have them on the back seat of their boats.
Yea well. Where's you're fire extinguisher?

I am surprised! That boat looks ragged out. I expected better than that from Mike.
