  • Well it's a step up from the cover the Fray did... I liked it.

  • I was just listening to this song and I thought to myself "Wow.. this sounds like something P!ATD would cover.. So I looked it up, and here I am xD

  • The Beatles are my all-time favorite band and I personally am not a big fan of covers.

But i must admit he has good range to be able to cover this song, as this is one of my favorites.

  • If I hadn't heard this cover, I wouldn't have known of the song's existance, and I wouldn't be deep down in love with it now.

I thank Panic! for everything! <3

  • this guys range is crazy good like mcartney's he wasnt as good though, neither will the song be without the complete beatles band

  • Ummm, this is actually a very good cover.

    STFU haters <3

  • This brings me back to when I was 7 years old and the Beatles were the only real music I knew of. I need a download link ASAP! :)

  • check out the fray - elanor rigby

    that's the best cover imo

  • im sorry no one can touch the beatles with 10 foot pole panic at the disco paul or lennon even fuckin ringo could stomp these tools

  • @SomedayMonday1 they killed a good song

  • I jumped when I heard that girl scream in the beginning.

  • @NegginandNatasha

The only flaw to this otherwise excellent audio recording, yes.

  • @NegginandNatasha lmao xD

  • my all time favorite band singing my all time favorite song....... Dreams do come true <3

  • @fantasyfields1 same.... at least someone knows how i feel(:

  • @maddielou1 :D I'm glad!

  • This is a great cover. This is a very difficult song to do, and Panic does it well. Thrice also did a great cover of this song.

  • this is my favorite song by the beatles.

    they did a good job

  • My favorite band singing one of my favorite songs!!!!! ♥♥♥♥

  • dude, is live version, put the video, not the video

still, this cover is pretty orrible

  • It sounds so............. magical. :)

  • Ok, there have been waaaaay worse covers than this one, which is not bad at all. Brendon gave the song his own flare... artists have been known to do that... and he is an artist after all...

Besides, hearing a cover of a song like this makes some people want to look for the original version and artist, thus keeping the legacy alive. No one will ever replace Liverpool's Fab Four, but people singing their songs is the only way to present them to new generations.

  • Oh for God's sake, who cares if it isn't as good as the Beatles? It is still a great cover. Without other people singing the Beatles' songs how is their legacy going to live on? Stop moaning.

  • I love Brendons voice so much.

  • This is bad, I mean really REALLY bad.

  • @YourMomBakesPies Agreed

  • <333

  • Shiiiiiiiit why didnt I know about this?

It's good but The Beatles will always be better.

    I love Brendon though. :)

  • any one can sing a beatles song it just that brendon dose a great job andnd the origonal should never b compared to wen listening to a cover

  • oh the lonley brendon where do he com from??? i love the beatles and panic at the disco

  • They should make a studio version of this :)

  • thumbs up if you think panic should release a covers album

  • at 1:11 he starts to remind me of Aerosmith when he sings it like that.

  • @BBnumber9 um do you know how many people cover this song??? Lots of bands do because its an amazing song. And the beatles did a genre of music and just because its in the same genre of music dosent automaticaly mean they are stealing there ideas. And i really think that pretty odd does not sounds THAT much like the beatles try actually listening to it.

  • I wish they had this on iTunes =( I'd buy it in a heartbeat

  • @YensidZero bro. it's called illegally downloading... :)

  • @bamfoshizzle if this song was on iTunes, that means it'd have a studio recorded version. If I just converted this URL to an MP3, it wouldn't be high quality or as listenable to. It's not the fact that I can't purchase it, I meant it to say that I wish there was a studio version. Which there isn't. So no downloading for me, illegal or not :(

  • really wtf? I think it sounds great! of course its not gonna sound like the exact damn song! they are not the beatles and do not sound like them! jesus, why do you people act like every cover of a song has to sound exactly the same.

  • i was searching for the thrice cover of this, didnt know PATD did one. pleasant surprise! they havent recorded it though have they? :[

  • Brilliant. :)

  • those who don't like panic! covering these songs you're insane, I love the fact that they do!

  • I actually think with Brendon's voice, he makes the songs his own due to his range.

You usually cannot tell that someone else has written it as he sounds so comfortable doing them.

  • Pretty good for a Beatles cover. But you just cant reach the level of Fantastic that the Beatles did. But its actually good.

  • This is probably my second favorite Beatles song, but right now, I'm sick of the beatles. I've been listening to them forever. I'm never tired of Panic tho

  • i love his voice soooooo much.lol

  • wow this cover is great i love panic they rock!!!

  • the guy on the right of this picture...i know him...i swear ive seen him b4

  • @jalapeno212

    thats jon walker !! xD

  • I can imagine that this was amazing live. Although this recording of it is low quality, I KNOW that it was amazing live.

    I KNOW it.

  • Hey, we all want Beatles to live forever, but they only can if newer bands love and cover their songs! See this as an honor!

  • A friend of the Beatles is a friend of mine. And hey haters, you gotta admit it could've been worse. I like the Beatles version best, but this one's okay. At least it's not KidzBop, thought the world was ending when I saw KidzBop sings the Beatles

  • @stephkills i agree.

  • @stormtrooper253 Thank you :D

  • If there is any band worthy of even attempting to play this song, its panic cause there is rarely anyone like them besides fall out boy, but panic covered this song better than I expected.

Personally, bands like these should cover songs like these more often, to a certain extent maybe, i enjoyed this cover song like a child would enjoy building a snowman, covering it with frosting, then eating and killing the snowman for his own selfish pleasures. What a sick lil kid.

    ......saw 3 scares me..

  • WOW,great cover and awesome voice from brendon, and i love the beatles and of course panic at the disco and about pretty odd, i thought that the album was exactly like the beatles style:D of course with some modern influences too but mainly beatles:D

  • My favourite band covers my favourite Beatles' song. ^__^

  • same lol :D

  • Wtf are you people talking about?

Brendon's voice has a very good musical range ( tone wise.) It's hard to cover this song. I've seen a lot of people do it, and not one of them has done such a good job.

The whole band did better than good- they did excellent.

  • @MakeEmScreamAlix nothing.... nothing better than the beatles

  • @MakeEmScreamAlix

    Thrice. End of conversation.

  • @Rob2202 FATHER,end of conversation..try it!!!!

  • @MakeEmScreamAlix I agree!!! they r also like that with every song they cover:D

  • Panic at the disco is an awsome band, but i dont think they should cover songs like these.

  • only band that deserves to cover this song because no one does it any good then Panic! At the Disco.

  • Guys, have you heard Pretty Odd? If there's anyone who can cover the Beatles, it's these guys. Just try comparing Pas de Cheval to Get Back.

  • does anyone have the download link to this by chance?

  • @beatXXkeeper

    Get YouTube Downloader. :D

  • Brendon pronounced "words" and "sermon" in an American accent, but whenever I sing it, I do it with Paul's accent. I have no clue why xD

ANWAYS I love it so much. Amazing cover to a beautiful song.

  • I think this is a fitting cover myself. Eleanor Rigby wasn't a beautiful master piece composed by symphony directors, it was genius created by the Beatles. The creepy tone to it matches the song imo. Though the high notes on in the vocals are kind of the rough, that's just the audio quality though.

  • Just to clarify I count "genius" as being better than "beautiful master piece."

  • @drvonfrie Fucker, don't insult Panic At The Disco.

  • Comment removed

  • i like BOTH the original and the cover of this song. both the beatles and PATD have made the song their owns, and given their own meanings to it. no matter what "side" your on, respect music, cuz' when you get down to it thats what it all is.

  • It was perfectly fine. I don't care how famous The Beatles are, that's not my generation, but I respect the fact that they helped music continue it's lineage.

These guys are ALSO helping that lineage along. Panic! At The Disco is a revolutionary band themselves.

  • it was pretty good...don't get me wrong it's not as good as the Beatles original, also you gotta take into account that about 88%(probably more) of the people in there had never heard a Beatles song so it's good they're introducing good music to them, also to everyone trashing it I've only one thing to say, relax and accept

  • this was a kickass cover, i agree don't put it down. if you think it's so bad you and your band cover it better.

  • not bad

  • In a strange sense, I like it. A lot.

You guys are just far too narrow-minded to except the fact someone is actually capable of covering A Beatles song.

Beatles defined a new generation of music, it was unique, it was beautiful, why is it so hard to see that in some of this?

  • everyone shoud go grow up a bit - its just urie screeching out an amzaing beatles song but not with the same passion that lennon & co did.

  • Greaaaat ;D

    Loves it.

    Brendon <333

  • beatles did it better, but I like<3

  • horrible voice

    horrible cover

  • Stfu.

    Your horrible.

Don't watch if your just gonna be like that.

    Stupid little bitch.

  • That sucked. Really, really bad.

  • You fucking suck so gtfo of youtube.

    Disgrace.

  • Make me?

  • shaky ass voice

  • Your mom.

  • called vibrato "R"tard. go study music nd you'll find how lame u are w/ ur straight voice

  • its called having your balls being squeezed

  • My balls squeezed huh? How does that salty sweat taste? I bet you like it.

  • was i talking about your balls? i think not. what are you fantasizing about over there? you like boys

  • Then why were you repeating what I started off from? So, yeah, you were talking to me. I suggest getting yourself a mental check, You might have caught "oblivious retard syndrome," common symptoms being: retarded comebacks, forgetfulness, denial, and most of all failing at life in general. Check and mate, just leave so you can enjoy the rest of your youtube life posting more retarded comments. :D

  • chill out brahhhhhhhh

  • good comeback. thank you, come again.

    //end your fail youtube fight.

  • Nope.

  • yeah its pretty bad

  • i'm done with you...

  • we're over... you don't think enough of our child!

  • Not going to lie, that was more than a little corny. p!atd is awesome though. (:

  • I don't know why everyone is giving thumbs down? His voice is surely shakey. The correct term is Vibrato. He has a lot more of that than any other singer, pretty much ever. Which makes him unique, unlike your crappy music.

  • thats wat i said! gosh! lol

  • Haha.. Im not a huge fan of Panic at the Disco myself -- I just wanted to see some covers... but I think it's funny you're telling people to listen to his voice live, when this recording is clearly him playing live. =]

  • I know right? It makes absolutely no sense. I've been to a concert, and have heard almost every live preformance they have done. Obviously I am obsessed, but at least I know my stuff.

  • I don't want to get out. Vibrator is something you stick in dark holes. Vibrato is what you mean. The Beatles were good, changed the path of music. That doesn't mean people cannot cover them. In my opinion, Brendon's voice is much more unique than The Beatles. Just my opinion. But seriously dude, I have listened to them live many more times than you have. Brendon's voice has grown alot since the times of this concert. But trust me, his voice is money. And what's with the random "Die" at the end

  • ok baby im sorry i understand now, you win.

  • Yeah, no one will ever "replace" the Beatles. But whats going to keep their legacy alive?

A: People that sing their songs...

  • @IntensePizza Or... you know, their music by itself.

  • I love both the Beatles and P!ATD but I think the Beatles did it better...not to be mean it's just my opinion ^^

  • This is my new favorite thing ever.

  • I think the Beatles are better but PATD is good at it too! PATD seems to be bringing hate into in it and the Beatles bring sadness to it so it's interesting hearing both! ^_^

  • I absolutely hate P!atD, but this is sexy.

  • i love this cover

    and the orignal

  • I love Brendon's voice. Even live, he's awesome.

  • Wow!

i liked this version :D , it sounds very alternative and diferent ^^

  • out of tune sometimes?)

  • I think they should ad this song on their new album, its time for them to have a cover song on one of their ablums. what better than eleanor rigby

  • this is amazing^^

I love panic! at the disco

....where do they all come from ^^

  • Brendon, Spencer, and Ryan are all from Las Vegas, and Jon is from Chicago. However, Jon and Ryan have left the band, and became the Young Veins!

  • cshe wasn't meaning literally lol

  • Blonde moment :$ :$

  • wow.... Brendon got better at singing live! love this song... love beatles.... love PATD.... absolutly love this!!! <3<3<3<3!!! too bad they split....

  • I love P!ATD

this is the best cover I've ever heard

  • My fave beatles song+my fave band=woop

  • not even on the same level as the beatles version...horrific cover

  • well, I LOVE PatD, but I'm not one of those ppl that have the names, star signs and looks of each band member off pat. So at 0:07 , is the one 2-to-the-right from Brendon ,Ryan? He looks cute there.

  • PANIC+BEATLES= <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

    things could not get better

  • i mean i luv the song itself ssoo much and i adore panic and then to combine them OMG i´m melting away , especially at the ending gosh ♥♥♥

  • This is good, but the quality of the sound isn't (as it'd be if they did a studio version)!

Aahhhhh Panic & The Beatles, two of my favs, each for different mood. <3

  • I love Patrick Stump because he is like my pack of beer and barbique riibs!!

  • ...Patrick doesn't like barbeque. xD

Panic at the Disco and Eleanor Rigby. Favorite band and my favorite Beatlles song. This is cool C:

  • Comment removed

  • Oooooh kaaay. <_<

  • Yea i know what ur thinkin its an inside joke of an interview with Fall Out Boy btw its only what Patrick said lol

  • no what i said was for some other comment

  • I think this is a very nice cover.

I saw them perform this one live, and it was fabulous.

Of course not as good as the original, but still damn good.

  • I think people hate covers becasue "They can't compare to the original". Well that's the point, it's DIFFERENT. Different band = different style.

I actually like this cover. It's definitely not PATD's best, at all, but think about it. If they did it nowadays, they would kick ass. They were just younger; it was the same with round here.

  • well i hate this cover but anything beats david cooks cover.

  • nothing is better than the beatles and it dusgusts me for someone to say its better than the beatles considering its was written by them or john lennon.ppl like it more because they made it into a crappy pop song in this cover.

  • this isnt bad but no way compares to the beatles version, they do it well but when it comes to 'Ah look at the lonely people' they dont hit the right notes

  • no way man. haha. cant beat the beatles =)

  • I love their cover of this. I actually like it better than the original version, although I love that too.

  • do you know ive been looking for them covering this song FOREVER!!!!!!!!

    thanks for posting this!

  • No problem.

  • I think this is pretty damn good for a Beatles cover. They aren't usually that good.

  • He sounds a lot like a goat...

Maybe it's the fact that it's live and he doesn't have a studio to make him sound better? Who knows...

  • I love the Beatles, and this is an amazing cover. Guys, you have to understand it's a cover, not the real thing, so it won't sound exactly the same. They did a great job, even without violins.

  • Even though I hate Panic, this cover is great

  • how do they sleep at night............

  • Oh god, is wow an understatment? i think it is.

Of course not better than the Beatles version (which is one of my favorite songs by them)

Panic at the disco did a very good job elanore rigby is not an east song to cover because of the orchastra instruments the did a hell lot better job than david cook,

Even my mom (who hates Panic and says Brendon stole her birthday ) says that they did a awesome job and then she said she couldnt believe that this was live.

  • I love it! :)

  • its not a bad cover not bad at all.

  • EPIC!

  • Good but the Beatles version is better <3

  • hell yes why the fuck did panic at the disco attempt to cover a song by the beatles?!!?! no one can do that

  • if you can do any better i'd like to see it.

personally i think panic did a great job they get more shit than they should they did good. the echo sucks but i think they did good :)

    beatles and patd rock <3

  • augh it's too distracting for me with the echoes but it's decent. i like their cover of killer queen better
