that swift accelerates too fast in straights, if there was less staight and more hair pins tsuchiya would have won in sudden death since he started first, that 1st race he was pulling away in the hair pins and the 2nd race he was catching up but those small staights was just enough for that swift to get the power to the floor.

@seven7thirteen13 well there's power difference. Tsuchiya's 86 only has 170 PS which is only for street and the JWRC Swift is probably around 200 PS which is a rally car. Tsuchiya did race against some dudes in rally cars on Gunsai. 2 times with Amemiya FD and 1 time with J's S2000

i have a 91 celica st. lighter than ever, and if i do a swap its gonna be the 4age. But id really love to convert it to rwd. I think itd be less work than converting it to awd 3sgte style. But its never been done before on the 5th gens.

Nope, not supercharged. It's just a purpose-built rally car for running in the Junior World Rally competition. It's a highly tuned naturally aspirated 1.6L engine. To be honest, this wasn't really a fair battle, but it proves that it takes one HELL of a car to beat that AE86.
