YAAAAY!!! I was there! Although I'm not in the video...I did meet the guy with blond hair at 0:13. It was pretty fun playing on stage but they had such a bad queing system. As a musician I can say that guitar hero does not simulate real guitar playing, to the contrary; a skilled guitar player might have trouble playing it due to the inherent delay. One who is used to hitting the notes on the right beat the right time, has to time it a little before the beat, which doesn't make sense.

If there someday will be a guitar hero with a real guitar, and (virtually) no delay, it could be an awesome game in my personal opinion.

Like I said, people who are musicians can't use their musicality in Guitar Hero. I have tried guitar hero and I knew the song I tried, and so I improvised a little since I really got into the song, but then I just got flaws for it. You have to do exactly what the screen says, whereas music isn't really about dictating.

Either call it something else than 'guitar', or make real instruments to it. The downside with real instruments is that it would be somewhat expensive = /.

I wasn't being honest. I do not recall why I chose not to tell the truth.

The truth is that it was a friend of mine, which played guitar hero and played drums. It is extremely easy deviating from what's on the screen, to what's on your mind.

Nevertheless, beat-wise, I could probably end up 'improvising' on guitar hero with the guitar. Sometimes to spur variation, tones are delayed or made premature.
