The bible is a fine book. Wonderful lessons and I feel everyone should learn about what it says. However, be very carful who's teaching the course. If a fundamentalist christian, like the one's who believe the bible is true word for word, drop the course. If someone like Joeseph Cambell, author of " the power of myth" then listen, learn, enjoy the growth your life will experience as a result of keeping an open mind. We r God experiencing himself. Your right, in that, creation is one with creator in that doctrine. As apposed to one who believes creator is the master of creation, and that as a creator, who became a man to redeem man from sin and death (Christ Jesus) who is left out. If something doesn't work in your life, don't use it, it's fine, but don't discourage others from using it when they could have changed their lives around with it like I have. the edits were made by humans. just as humans wrote them originally (spirits); so there is a battle of intentions/wills/understandings involved in the transformation of that book over linear time in this progression of earth evolution.
i have not read all of the books we are focussed on, however, i do know that one contains the idea that jesus was agitated that priests were calling themselves 'father' and acting as middle men.

The law of attaction is just that, "a law". Like gravity and such. It is not a way to God. It is Gods gift. If you use it righteously then there is abundance. If you misuse it then there is poverty and emptyness in ones life. You can use it to recieve Gods gifts, or you can use it to bring pain and misery on yourself. What is in your heart will determine how the law of attraction is manifested, just like a loaded gun. A person can bring heaven in thier lives, or hell. It's a freewill choice.

As far as the content goes, its not really a contridiction to the Bible at all, it goes hand in hand if you actually read The Bible. The Biblical contridictions were portrayed by a few of the individual speakers, not by the concept. The real problem is that the Law of Attraction isn't the reason that collective concentration works, The real "Secret" is Quantum Mechanics. Basically the same concept, different explanations.
We have to think! This is the first action. I am a Christian too, but I use everything God gave me. He gave me hands, arms, legs, eyes ears, mouth and tongue and I use those normally in the right way. I don't use them for hitting or kicking or mean words. Thinking is natural and powerful. If Christians always focus on fear they will be stuck and powerless. Love God with all your heart, soul and mind. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. This is the secret.

The bible is a fine book. Wonderful lessons and I feel everyone should learn about what it says. However, be very carful who's teaching the course. If a fundamentalist christian, like the one's who believe the bible is true word for word, drop the course. If someone like Joeseph Cambell, author of " the power of myth" then listen, learn, enjoy the growth your life will experience as a result of keeping an open mind. We r God experiencing himself. Study 'Think & Grow Rich' by Napoleon Hill and 'You Were Born Rich' by Bob Proctor. They refer to God all the time but not how we've been programmed to think of God. The law of attaction is just that, "a law". Like gravity and such. It is not a way to God. It is Gods gift. If you use it righteously then there is abundance. If you misuse it then there is poverty and emptyness in ones life. You can use it to recieve Gods gifts, or you can use it to bring pain and misery on yourself. What is in your heart will determine how the law of attraction is manifested, just like a loaded gun. A person can bring heaven in thier lives, or hell. It's a freewill choice.

@MrSuspiciousPerson Christianity isnt a religion - its a direct relationship with God. No church is necessary, nor priesthood or man made system of control - that is saved for all the apostate religions like Catholocism, Mormonism, Hinduism, Islam, Atheism etc
And why Christianity? There are hundreds of proofs which back it up but the main one is Prophecy - The Bible is the only Book in the world that has 100% accurately prophesied what is to come is the Bible.

The men that wrote the Bible were all inspired by God - thats how they were all able to predict all the events that have come to pass (and will come to pass) with such accuracy.
If you study this in detail you will see how powerful the Bible is & why the demonic Catholic Church burned Christians for owning a copy.

Buddha does not speak of God.. he only speaks of how the present moment.. the "now" is of much importance and that material things can only lead to suffering. 3. There is absolutely NOTHING in Buddha's teachings that contradicts the bible. As a matter of fact.. Jesus himself speaks of being present when he speaks of keeping candles lit to get to a wedding.

However, these things are the OPINION of the author, who is merely adding her own editorial to an observed phenomena. The Law of Success in 16 Lessons is a FAR better treatise on the Law of Attraction as it applies to success.

People are just scared of anything that could bring happiness into your life. The bible teaches fear..Have you ever noticed that less and less people are christian,and its going to continue to get lower. One day no one will pay attention to Christianity because anytime its people try to prove a point, they just come off as being crazy. The whole point of God's laws are to make you happy, not fear at all (except the healthy fear of God). If you follow God's laws you WILL be happy! How many unhappy divorces have you seen? How many people become addicted to drugs, alchohol, some die as a result. How many sexually transmitted diseases? Are they all happy?

U misunderstand the Law of Attraction. Its not against the Bible, its supported in the Bible. LOA is about faith. Its not about "loving" something in order to attract it. Its about what u believe is what u achieve. When Jesus told Peter 2 walk on water it was about faith. When he stopped believing it didnt work. Every achievement known had to be believed first in the heart before it could be done. Proverbs 23:7 "As a man thinketh....so he is".

The secret doesn't tell you that there are many ways. This "Metaphysics" you talk about makes complete sense and is compatible with the Bible. Use the Law of the Attraction to attain heaven. LOVE Jesus with all your heart. Behave as if you have Jesus with you at all times. This is the way Jesus tells you to enter heaven and this is how you apply Law of Attraction.
