@ghsdr5, yes you will lose back pressure, how much exactly I dont know. But you can always close them with a flip of a switch or just open them a little bit for back pressure. The cutouts only open as far as you want them to depending on how long you hold onto switch.

Meh, I'll just stick with flowmaster mufflers on my Cobra. I like to hear the whine of the pullied Eaton and I want the competition to hear it too. You'd be surprised how people think the 03/04 Cobras are just another Mustang. Heh, little do they know that these cars are beasts even if they are almost 9 years old.

cobras will be beast until everyone dies. IMO cobras are the sexiest thing thats on the roads, the intoxicating sound of the supercharger, the burrble of the exhaust, and the sleek looks, make this car the best there is.

Cutouts sound bad, no offense but it makes cars sound like a boat when they're idling. I had some on my 86 mustang and I took them off a month after installation.
