@NINOBROWN914 Of course you can put the seats in, but the brackets won't line up. I wanted these seats so I had new brackets made from 2" square tubing, cut into 2" sections. Drill bolt holes in them and it worked like a charm. If you don't wanna mod your existing brackets , you can put any GBODY seats in your Monte Carlo (assuming you have bucket seats, so get gbody bucket seats). Gbody's ie. 81 -87 Buick Regal, Grand Prix, Cutlass, Malibu, El Camino and a few others.
@LittleDragon77 alright cool .thanks for your help i might go with either some 2000 and up monte carlo seats or some corvette seats. thanks again for your help. and good job not putting 26 inch rims on a classic lol
just seen this car on gbody forum site. This thing has he coolest dash ever. I want the exact dash. I am building a 87 cutlass with hopefully a decent big block. This car is fucking awsome. 3 thumbs up. ;)
@matt9632111 Seats are from an 07 Chevy SSR. Black leather, heated, power bucket seats. Fitted with custom made brackets made from 1/4" square tubing.
Nice car! I did the same thing with my rims. 16X7 in front with 15x10 in the rears. It just looks great. Please tell me what size tires you're running in the rear?
@heatherandpaul2 Thanks for the comments bro! Currently running Toyo Proxe ST 295/50/15 -- they fit only because I have the fender lips widened by grafting camaro fender lips. You might get that size tire to fit if you roll the fender lip in with a fender roller (or a hammer being careful). I plan to eventually switch to Nitto NT555 325/50/15 it should barely fit.
@lastpatt It hasn't been to the track yet because it's in storage for the winter. In spring she finishes the break in period and goes to the dyno for tuning. Oh and by the way what you said makes no sense. It's not Pro Street, it's Pro Touring and you're an idiot. Learn your shit before you open your mouth.
@ruwithlee1970 It's a Vintage Air system, and it works pretty good. I would say better than factory, if not, just as good. You can Google it or go to vintage air . com. and the system installed in this car is the universal Gen Ii system, which is the most popular and there is even Dakota Digital control unit made for it.
At first i was why?! then it kinda grew on me. nice gp! did you redo the roof fabric? if so how much? i have a 84 gp that im tryin to rebuild come check it out if you want
@madeincanada1990 An auto glass place did it for $400. Assuming you mean the vinyl top. Be careful though, my guy scratched the rear glass while cutting the vinyl to size. FS.
i love everything except the front body kitt but even with it its still really cool
