I was only about 3 or 4 years old back then.

It was during the Khmer Rouge Regime.

I was too young to know about suffering at that age. All I remember was my laughing and smiling with my Beloved Grandmother and playing with the birds and listen to their songs. I couldn't climb the tree to pick fruits back then, so I usually ate the fruits that the birds dropped on the ground. I thought those birds dropped them for me intentionally. LOL

Me too Brother. Whenever I hear flute I miss

my childhood time so much.

When I grew up during the Khmer Rouge Regime,

all I saw were birds and animals.

They kept me and my Grandma in a deep forest. We hardly get to see human beings.

I remember listening to the sound of the wolves every night. I was so scared back then, I had to hug my gradma very tight.
