i dont know why these guys are soo popular in europe and not as much here in Canada even though they are from Canada it seems like all their shows are in europe
when I first heard this on the radio I thought it was a local band because of the lack of effort. Lyrics that make Nickleback look like Bob dylan, guitar solo that sounds like it doesnt know where to go, vocal melody that just gives up in places. Remember folks, just because it's popular doesn't mean it's good.

No, I don't expect shredding from ever solo. I'm a guitar player and I've made plenty of slower, more melodic solos. This is just terrible. It's a jumble of generic licks. This is the kind of solo I made after a year of playing guitar. I'd be ashamed to have something like this heard on the radio.
@Mealzer well maybe he's not as good and fast as you. Have you heard Eric Clapton?.....that guy is a showboat and dreadful guitar player but yet he's just the cats ass isnt he.

I'm not asking for anything amazing, but this is just ridiculous. My buddy called me laughing the first time he heard it and told me I had to go on youtube and hear this solo.

I play guitar to.....i'm probably not as good as you but ive heard ALOT of cheesy lead guitar solo's out there and I know you have to. But this one isnt in that same category.
