I think it shoule be compulsory for all girls doing Lindy to wear high heals! It changes the whole look of the dance.... for the better IMO!

I disagree. Keds, chucks and vans make lindy unique from other dance styles eg. ballroom. Lindy looks more fun and quirky when the girls wear comfy shoes. Anyway, proper lindy technique requires the dancer to be on the balls of her feet, so her legs are elongated anyway, having the same 'lovely' impression of wearing heels, minus the discomfort! I don't have a problem for dancers wearing heels, but I wouldn't have ever gotten into lindy if heels were compulsory!
