  • TheNightHawk91 are you on crack it is by enya

  • @SolidLaChain No solid it is by Miriam Stockley. It is a project by Karl Jenkins of London Orchestra.

  • Its not from lord of the rings, its a Karl Jenkins piece

  • It's from karl jenkins ..

  • Lovely :)

  • This seems like the kind of song that should be attached to an Avitar video

  • This is perfect. You should make more videos like this.

  • Gosh... I LOVE this video, and the music fits it brilliantly... I got the rythem down pat ^^

  • the Lord of the Rings rules :-) !

  • Like if u clicked this video because of Legolas's picture!

  • @AlaaChan Haha, you must know people really well;)

  • good job.

  • is the music from Lord of the Rings? is the singers celctic woman?

  • is the music from Lord of the Rings?

  • its a fanmade with the song adiemus -w-

  • Doesn't really go with LOTR :/ great song, but more for something like The Time Machine (music by Klaus Badelt XD) or Avatar...good pics though

  • i reckon it goes together well

  • the lor of the rings?? i don't think so... i think that is the song for the movie where a man is transform in a bear... or avatar...

  • Wee LotR and this osng is beautyfull mix ! yeez, I love it

  • this theme fits in the lord of the rings wow

  • adiemus and lord of the rings isnt a bad mix guys! jeez...

  • Wasn't Adiemus by Karl Jenkins?

  • give the person a break! this vid is wicked. :)

  • Correct music or not, Peter Jackson absolutely nailed this movie

  • If Howard Shore didn't compose the movie, Karl Jenkins would have definitely been a very good alternative.

  • I have one word to describe this "Epic!".

  • I think adiemus fits nicely guys except for the final part of the theme where some other instrument gets in

  • i just paused at 1:18 and sat there staring :P

    Mmmm... :)

  • o: i didnt know that "adiemus" is a song of the lord of the rings o.o,,,

  • @prexy2009 It isn´t

  • @prexy2009 its not it was being planed to be in the movie but they decided not to for some ression

  • this is wonderful.

  • @MageRothan2 get out more

  • this isn't elvish...i'm fluent in Quenya, Tengwar and 3 other dialects!

  • @MageRothan2 oh that's cool :D

  • @colossus1459 lol, yeah :) too much time :)

  • @MageRothan2 I wish I can fluently speak the Elvish tongue too :( I can only read and write the alphabet of it, but not talk sensibly, you know what I mean...

  • @PinkSourLemon I know! At the end, i was hoping for a strong string & percussion explosion, but then a damn saxaphone came in. -______-

  • I dont know about you people, but I like this combination. I dont get why people get so mad, its a cool song, with a cool movie. :)

  • Its not "elvish". The "words" are not really words at all. They are syllables written by the composer. Christ. Just Wiki it.

  • Love the song :)

  • Thanks for the vid :D

  • Adiemus wasnt in the Movie but is a compilatian and that song is perfekt for it !

    thanks for ubloading

  • love this song

  • i think that this song goes perfect with Lord of the Rings!

  • love this song :)

  • This sound, the slowish like womens voice, sounds elfish. The flute and the the voice who like shouts the "Acooyahee" makes me think you like enter elven territory. the pics are lotr atleast the ones I saw. Im actually thinking of making a vid on this inspired by elfish like sh*t. I don't get why you peeps think its not fitting, and when you think so atleast give valid reasons. Not "are you drunk?" thats just plain stupid.

Nice work @thenighthawk91 cheers and cya.

  • beautiful.

  • The beginning of the music is fabulous... but I am so disappointed for the rest...

  • I have to be honest, this video is beautiful. And I screencapped that picture of Legolas at 1:17 and it's now my desktop wallpaper. I love this video so much, it's not funny.

  • been looking for this song for a month now

  • This IS Enya. I'ts just not LOTR

  • Why is it that everywhere I look on the internet this song is associated with LOTR and with Enya? both associations are wrong. I understand the person who posted this is not saying that Adiemus was IN the LOTR movies, but elsewhere on the internet I have seen this song being posted as having been in the movies, which is wrong. and Enya does not sing this or any version of it.

  • This sound like avatar ¿no?

  • sorry but I think so... adiemus cannot be combined with The Lord of the Ring... it´s silly

  • @FilipCzechRepublic What a nice reason....*facepalm*

  • i think so... adiemus cannot be combined with The Lord of the Ring... it´s silly

  • emotional video!great!

  • hey, i looked it up and this actually IS Enya. I'm a huge Enya fan and always have been. when i heard this song and you said it wasn't Enya i started looking up her music and found out that this actually is her. and i love your video by the way. very well done.

  • @appleprincess101 Don't know where you did your research. This is not Enya; the singer's name is Miriam Stockley. She is a South African performer.

  • OFC this is LOTR....

    and OFC this isn't Enya...or am I dreaming? :O

  • @KylePsyren this is not a song in lotr, and it IS Enya (:

  • @KylePsyren, No, it is not Enya. This is the Karl Jenkins creation Adiemus and the title track to their first album "Adiemus: Songs of Sanctuary". This version is a bit longer than the one on the album.

  • so good for your 1st vido. you did outstanding. the African music is so wonderful and fits this so wonderful.

  • I was just thinking what a cool video it would made with LOTR and this song and I had to look for it! Beautifully Done!

  • this is from Gladiator

  • Magique <3

  • wrong woman, one of them is going back to the kitchen

  • this song was composed by karl jenkins in 1994 for the american airline Delta Airlines, but it was also used for lord of the rings.

  • "The Lord of the Rings -Adiemus"...are you drunk?

  • @pedropcv6 Nope... but im shure YOU are ...

  • @TheNightHawk91 its not in the tracks or in the film, the only connection betwen the 2 is that enya sing it.

  • Hold on to your Dreams! Find the "ARK OF DREAMS" !

  • This isn't good enough for Lord Of The Rings. Great song but not epic.

  • It was in Mighty Joe Young.

  • All languages come from different branches.. though there as single language once upon a time none of the languages today is directly connected to that one language..

    its linguistics 101 people :D

  • This sounds like it belongs in Avatar.

  • If not Enya - then who? ..

  • @bplinn

This is Era's song. But who is vocal - I have no idea.

  • @bplinn Karl Jenkins composed and wrote it; Miriam Stockley is the lead vocalist.

  • @bplinn i always thought this was enya.. it is her

  • i love the pictures you used

  • Brother Bear XD

  • love this i have this song in my head all day lol

  • @MultiG999 ..... completely terrible grammar aside

Most languages are a combination of other languages... I mean I could take Dutch, Swahili, and Latin, combine it, make words, and call it Lickmyballsish. Doesn't make it any less real.

  • I think she's singing in Gaelic. But it's beautiful whatever language it may be.

  • Absolutely beautiful, I am inspired!! Well Done!! I really think you have something here!

  • Absolutely beautiful, I am inspired!! Well Done!!

  • i love this song.

  • excuse me none of just King Theoden.

  • This IS Enya... Have the album... and this is in her own language. One created for her. Its used in "Time Machine" as well. The translation comes with the album.

  • This IS Enya... Have the album...

  • it's still an awesome song. so who really cares??

  • and baromir

  • you for got faramir

  • omfg ive been searching 4 this a long time and we listend to it when i was a kid at the sleepy time in kinder garrrdden !!!!!!

  • its not from LOTR nor avatar. its adiemus by adiemus

  • this is a fake language made to make the voice like an instrument , there are many sections this is one , elvish is also an actual language made by tolkin its the point of the lord of the rings he wanted to make his own language

  • Karl Jenkins wrote this song for a travel commercial. Hte words are made up ones to go along with the music. Some think this song would have been excellent in Avatar.

  • Karl Jenkins wrote this song. The sords have no meaning, They are sounds made up to go with the music. He wrote this for a travel commercial.

  • @MultiG999 who said that this is an elven language?

  • @TheNightHawk91

it isn't an elven language.. it should sound like latin but it isn't latin at all :D

  • @MultiG999 Are u sure that there is some finnish in elven language? Becous im from Finland and i cant understand singe word from it.

  • @MultiG999 Finland languages? uhm.. Finnish?

  • @MultiG999 so what, its still cool. A bunch of languages are based off other languages... dumb ass

  • @MultiG999 Do some critical thinking before you insult Tolkien and his languages.

First of all, this isn't in elvish, so therefore, your comment isn't even relevant.

Second, by your reasoning, English isn't a real language, since it descended from the Germanic branch of the language tree like EVERY OTHER LANGUAGE IN THE WORLD.

I bet there are no languages that you can name that can't be traced back to being made by "mixing" other languages. Oh, and learn some grammar.

  • @MultiG999 Nothing about that comment made any sense. Tolkien was a language master. He found Old Welsh and Finnish beautiful and unique, so he used them as inspiration, a basis. What's wrong with that?

  • @MultiG999 Troll.I hope the sunlight kills you.

  • @IamOnTheRoof No ,no.Vampires, not trolls.

  • @dwarflover63 According to Tolkien's book - The Hobbit. Trolls die from the sunlight :)

  • @IamOnTheRoof I stand corrected. Thank you for being polite.

  • @dwarflover63 O,no problem :) people should be polite :)

  • @MultiG999 Wow, you're really fucking retarded, aren't you? He didn't MIX the languages, dumb ass. He was inspired by them and took elements. Now turn of your fucking caps lock button, shut up and go spam some other random video. And the Elven language isn't supposed to be real, it's called fiction.

  • @unscmaverick yy

  • I like it so mush!!!! so deep!!!

  • i love LOTR and thise song first heard it on a Avatar video so still imaging 10ft blue Navi and Jake and Neytiri but love the song and thise video

  • Song's named "Karl Jenkins - Adiemus"

  • It isn't in lord of the ring ... But it's a really beautiful song ...

  • Great song with a great video to go with it. An amazing song to sing with a choir, so powerful x

  • It sounds like it is from The 2000s Time Machine.

  • Was this in TLOTR?!! Are you sure? haha i didn't think it was...:P

  • @abarnybox im shure that i never said that this was ever in lotr.....

  • @TheNightHawk91 Oh well i assumed because of the lotr pictures :P my bad

  • @TheNightHawk91

Except, you know, naming the video "LORD OF THE RINGS".

    Ahem. Just saying.

  • @abarnybox Dude, it's called lotr, not tlotr...FIX!

  • @abarnybox this isn't in lotr, it's just goes well with them.

  • uhhhh i don't really know why but it reminds me of a soundtrack of the anime 'tsubasa chronicles'...

but don't mind me don't mind me....

  • Whats up with that saxophone??? ha that does not fit :(

  • this isnt enya its by karl jenkins its the title of a series of albums and the first song is this one in the first album songs of sanctuary

  • Comment removed

  • Why does everyone think that New Age music is sang by Enya. Get out more people!!

  • No dudes, I think this is the women's choir of Hungary. (We'd need a map.)

  • If the singer isn't enya who is it?

  • @Pekoautika Miriam Stockley, but the thing was composed by Karl Jenkins

  • AMAZING :)

  • This is by Karl Jenkins, he made the language up. Literally thought that the words were pretty and put them to music. The album that you can find this song on is called Songs of Sanctuary.

  • KÖNIG DER LÖWEN!!!!!

  • What song? :)

  • This piece is so similar with the OP of Record of Lodoss War

  • This is so beautiful,in this world or realm this would save us In that world It alredy did....

  • where'd you get the black and white actor pictures from? they're lovely.

  • F**K that 19 stupids X(

  • Arwen is so wonderful. I Love she.

  • Neither Enya or in LotR

  • Sounds like a song used for Avatar.....did they use this in dat movie

  • @TheNightHawk91 They did use it in Avatar...

  • @damonsalvatoreluver3

But they did use a song named: My name is lincoln wich is used in the movie "The Island" and also in "Avatar"'s trailer =)

  • I Heard this music somewhere and i thought its for Avatar I don't know why ...

Still its beautiful , LOTR And Avatar are both my favorite movies of all time

  • @NejiHyuugasEldunari Yes you're right, the is from The Lord of the rings but is also used in Avatar.

  • is it just me and my friend that thinks Sam is cuter and more of a man than Frodo?

  • it sounds african... still cool! :D

  • awesome

  • charlie

  • . . .If its not Enya. . .who is it??

  • @ArieanneRulezD00d it's Adiemus, same as the name of the song...how creative^^

  • Wasn't this song used in Avatar???.......

  • @NejiHyuugasEldunari I dont think so,

but it kinda have that same feeling...

  • understanding words isnt everything- u wouldnt recognize another random language that does exist either- its about the sound- not meaning always- music is universal

  • I wish instead of the saxophone they use the drums and amplify the drums to make a more haunting, exotic sound.

  • It doesn't really have to matter what they're saying. Just enjoy the music and how it flows.

  • uppersymphony, the language may not exist, but neither does Middle Earth and it doesn't stop us from enjoying Lord of The Rings! Not everything has to be real to be enjoyed!

  • I love this song.

  • What a wonderful video. What a glorious song.

  • Какая Enya, с ума посходили? Автор что, пьян был? Это пиратский альбом Infinity 1998г, выдаваемый за Era, который в России пошел на "ура"

  • Bravo :)

  • boo to the saxophone ending, great song otherwise

  • @attichamster I agree with you there. The song would have been better if the sax was not in at the end. It doen't fit the time of Lord Of The Rings.

  • This isn't LOTR this is Karl Jenkins' Adiemus!! Completely unrelated!! Both nice though!

  • It's a great song but Enya didn't do it like you added. I think Liv Tyler is quite attractive.

  • Че гоните?! Это "Эра", а не "Ения"!

  • what has Lord of the Rings got to do with this song? LotR and adiemus are both wonderful, but i don't see the connection. And yes indeed, the pictures are great.

  • LoL...yes Legolas is Orlando Bloom!!
