I have no idea about Chihuahuas... I own a Maltese/Shih tzu :/ Perhaps call a vet in your area and ask? Or research online.

I was wondering of getting my Cavalier Eddy a friend, a Chihuahua.. But I heard that purebreed Chihuahuas are sick alot.. If I would get a mix, like a "PomChi" would he be healthier then? Or does the mixing of breeds make the dog even sicker?
