for your hash to smoke more evenly i suggest you get a way to heat it and grind it up.. into sand-like ganuals, and make sure its all the way dry.. you do this by heating it up without burning... this way you dont spend so much time drying it in your bubbler bowl using all your lung space, by the time your done the bowl is only half cached, believe me ive been there brother.

Very good advise but drying can be done without reducing the hash almost to kif which is undesireable to pretty much all smokers unless they like to roll ya know ? Another good piece of advise just smoke a little less hash in one hit he he .

One shoult go for soft and moist hash with a very distinct aroma. Color is secondary to those three criterias. I´ve smoked shitty black hash and really excellent brown hash and vice versa. It also depends on how old it is but in my experience the smell and the feel of the hash are the best indicators of how potent it is.

Thanks I actually learned a bit from that. I find that most black hash is bad when the colour itself has been messed with, those are the only cases where it's let me down. Biggest thing to look for probably are the strains its from, I just had some poorly made bubble hash made from Headband and it just knocked me on my tits. if you get the chance, try Headband its a really nice hybrid.

I think that strain is a good indicator aswell but then it can be badly grown or grown in a bad environment spoiling the potential of the strain, but if a few factors are put together theres a good chance you may come home with good stuff. The reason I say moist and soft is that it is a direct indicator on the amount of THC in the nug but it can be tampered with aswell as color.For instance the dealer can heat it a little so it seems like crazy shit.
